12.12.12. Sandy Relief Concert Featuring Your Favorite Artists

This December 12th (12/12/12), Madison Square Garden will be holding a charity event to help aid the victims affected by Hurricane Sandy. SuperStorm Sandy has affected many parts of the East Coast, including parts of New Jersey and New York City, leaving many buildings and homes in ruins and many local families devastated. These families are desperately searching for relief in any form, as many are left with nothing and lives shattered.

The Relief concert titled “12.12.12” will offer an attractive lineup to those who want to help out in the relief efforts. The concert will feature artists such as Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band, Roger Waters, Kanye West, and The Who. These amazing artists gather together in this one night only event to help provide assistance to the millions affected in the Tri State area.

The recently concert announcement is being run by Clear Channel Media, The Madison Square Garden Company and the Weinstein Company. All proceeds go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund which is providing money, material and know-how to local organizations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the storm. The Weinstein Company is the same organization which produced the historic “Concert For New York City” after the 9/11 attacks.

A statement made by the producers of the concert said, “12.12.12 is shaping up to be a showcase of music royalty. The response from the entertainment community to help those most affected by Hurricane Sandy has been nothing short of astounding”.
