As we approach music festival season, many music fans are mourning their typically busy concert schedules. For those who make a tradition of attending festivals such as Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Hangout Fest, and more, we’re here to say there is some light at the end of this tunnel. Though we’re not sure when the next music festival will be permitted to take place, there are several livestream music festivals going on throughout this quarantine. Play On Fest

Date: April 24-26, 2020

Time: 12 p.m. ET on Friday, April 24

This weekend, Warner Music presents the Play On Fest, featuring a livestream of previously recorded concerts from Cardi B, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Paramore, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. From Friday through Sunday, tune in with host LL Cool J to relive iconic concerts from some of the label’s most notable artists. Room Service Festival 2020

Date: April 24 – 26, 2020

Time: 12 PM PST

This upcoming weekend (April 24-26) Trap Nation and Chill Nation’s YouTube channels will be hosting the Room Service Festival. In hopes of bringing quarantined music lovers everywhere some fresh entertainment, Room Service Festival will feature sets from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Alec Benjamin, Chromeo, Cautious Clay, and more. Block By Blockwest: A Minecraft Music Festival

Date: April 25, 2020

Time: 3 PM EST

Concerts have been taking place within the video game realm more and more often. With Marshmello and Travis Scott drawing virtual fans in Fortnite, and bands like American Football and Soccer Mommy playing shows in Minecraft, the precedent for a video game music festival has so far been set. This Saturday, you can catch performances by Pussy Riot, Idles, Citizen, Nothing, Nowhere, Sir Sly, and Cherry Glazerr for Block by Blockwest: A Minecraft Music Festival. Each band’s 20-minute set will be a prerecorded live session played through the server. Other activities, such as art galleries and mini-games, will also be available “festivalgoers.”

Red Bull Records Virtual Festival

Date: May 1, 2020

Time: 11 AM PST

Hosted by DJ, TV, and radio host Hannah Rad is the inaugural Red Bull Records Virtual Festival, set to take place May 1st. So far, the virtual festival will feature sets by The Aces, Beartooth, Gavin Haley and more label mates that have yet to be announced. The multi-genre festival boasts intimate, live-at-home sets from the label’s artists, in addition to exclusive content, surprise guest appearances and more. Pathway to Paris: Earth Day Anniversary

Date: April 26, 2020

Time: 4 PM EST

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, ecological non-profit organization Pathway to Paris will be hosting a livestream concert this Sunday. Founded by Jesse Paris Smith, the daughter of Patti Smith and Fred “Sonic” Smith, Pathway to Paris aims to raise concern about human connection and contribution to the earth’s biodiversity.
