Chase Field Section and Level Guide

The Chase Field seating chart is organized across three main levels: the 100 level, the 200 level (Club Level), and the 300 level (Upper Deck). Here is a breakdown of each.

100 Level: The field-level sections run from the Infield Box and Baseline Box seats near the dugouts to the Bullpen Reserve and Bleacher sections in the outfield. Row counts range from 20 to 40 rows, depending on the section. The lettered suites (A through S) sit closest to the field along the infield arc.

200 Level (Club Level): The Club Box, Club Reserve, and Club Bullpen sections comprise the 200 level. Sections 200 through 223 wrap from the left field corner to the right field corner and contain 10 to 11 rows each. The All-You-Can-Eat sections are located on this level and offer unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages for the price of admission. Check individual listing seller notes for details.

300 Level (Upper Deck): The Outfield Reserve and Infield Reserve sections make up the uppermost level of Chase Field. Sections 300 through 332 contain 32 to 40 rows each. Despite the height, sections 308 through 322 directly behind home plate offer a sweeping overhead view of the entire field that many fans actually prefer for following pitch patterns and the full game.

Chase Field Seat Numbers: Seat number 1 in any section is always positioned closest to the adjacent lower-numbered section. For example, seat 1 in Section 128 will be nearest to seat 1 in Section 127. The closest sections to the field are the lettered suites. Suites C through Q have 13 rows each, while suites A, B, R, and S have 7 rows each.

Premium Seating at Chase Field 

The Clubhouse Box and the 1st and 3rd base boxes provide fans access to the swanky Audi Quattro Lounge, where they can indulge in delicious food and beverages that are more upscale than your average ballpark fare.

To complete Chase Field’s dedication to its guests’ comfort, the Diamond Club combines a comfy bar, lounge, and gourmet dining atmosphere with a terrific view of the game from an outfield perspective. The Picnic Pavilion is similar but is a more child-friendly section, complete with a play area and a family-oriented atmosphere.

Best Seats at Chase Field – Arizona Diamondbacks

Some seats are better than others. For instance, any of the lettered seats offer the best view in the house as they surround the entire infield. The Dugout Boxes are highly prized in this area, with the First and Third Base Boxes running a close second. The Club Boxes 208 through 213 are press box high and offer a great view at a reasonably affordable price.

Among the least expensive seats in the house are the MVP Boxes in sections 310 through 322 behind home plate. It goes without saying that the First and Third Base Boxes and the Baseline Box Reserve are the best seats to get autographs, while the bleachers are best for anyone looking to catch a ball. Sections 330 through 332 and 300 through 302 are located in the farthest corners of the stadium. They’re also the farthest from any concession stands. However, they can be among the most affordable options and offer a decent view, even for fans on a budget. Sections 145W and 100W are the Picnic Pavilion and the Miller Lite Diamond Club.

Chase Field Sun and Shade Guide

Chase Field is one of the few MLB stadiums where sun and shade are almost entirely a non-issue, and that is by design. The retractable roof is typically closed for afternoon and early evening games from April through September, as Phoenix summer temperatures routinely exceed 100 degrees. When the roof is closed, the interior is fully shaded and air-conditioned, making seat selection a comfort-neutral decision from a sun standpoint.

For the rare occasions when the roof is open, usually for cooler evening games in April or late September, the stadium faces northeast. Under open conditions, sections along the first baseline and right field tend to receive more direct sunlight in the early innings of evening games before the sun sets. The left field and third base side sections are more naturally shaded as the sun moves west.

Best shaded seats when the roof is open: Sections 101 to 115 along the third base line and left field corner get relief earlier in the evening. Upper-level sections on the first base side also benefit from the overhang.

Bottom line: Book with confidence anywhere at Chase Field. If the roof is scheduled to be open, lean toward the third base side for comfort.

ADA Seating at Chase Field
