Banks Plans First U.S Headlining Tour

This Summer, Banks will embark on a North American tour in support of The Altar, her latest album. This will be the first time Banks headlines a tour. Back in 2014, Banks served as opener to The Weeknd which was a major breakthrough for the pop R&B artist. Now, she will be taking her own stint through the U.S following her U.K Tour dates.

The Altar Tour will take Banks to a number of big cities and will kick off on April 11th and make a trek along the West Coast before her performance at Coachella. The second leg of her tour will kick off June 1st at Philadelphia’s Electric factory and will conclude at the Electric Forest music festival in Michigan. Banks will also be dropping in for a set at NYC’s Governor’s Ball which only adds to the incredible lineup the fest’s promoters cooked up for 2017.

BanksBanks’ second album The Altar was preceded by two stunning singles with equally stunning and surreal music videos. “Fuck with Myself” and “Gemini Feed” are good representations of the whole album, which is a darker, more mature offering from the pop star.

Tickets for the second leg of The Altar Tour will go on sale Friday, March 3rd, at 10 EST. Check out dates for the second leg of her tour below:
