Beacon Theatre Seating Chart | Detailed Seating Guide

The Beacon Theatre Seating Chart is one of the most confusing floor plans out there. For your convenience we’ve included pictures and detailed seating charts with row & seat numbers (see exact seat numbers below) for this famous New York City venue. Additionally, find out below where the best seats are, where not to sit at the Beacon Theatre, and where you can find the same Beacon Theatre seats at prices 10% cheaper than our leading competitor.

Beacon Theatre Seating Arrangements

The seat numbers on the right side of the venue are all even numbers, i.e. the first four seats are numbered 2, 4, 6, 8, etc. The same is true for the left side, except these are odd seat numbers 1,3,5,7 etc. Seating at the Beacon Theatre configured this way so when ushers look at your tickets, they immediately know which side of the venue to direct you. Another rule of thumb is that the lower the seat number, the closer your seats are to the center of the venue. However, the seat numbers for the center sections are consecutive, and not even/odd (101, 102, 103 etc.).

Beacon Theatre Seating Chart with Row Numbers

(hover over any section in the chart below for a row-by-row breakdown)

Orchestra Seating at Beacon Theatre

There are three center orchestra sections in the Beacon Theatre, and all of them have good seat views for nearly all seats. If you’re looking at the Right or Left Orchestra sections, I would make sure that your seats are as close as possible to the center aisle. Some of the seats with higher numbers are marked as “partial view,” so you’ll probably want to avoid those seats. In addition, most seats in row S to Y (in the center orchestra section only) are obstructed by the soundboard.

Loge Seats at Beacon Theatre

When sitting in the loge, the overhang (from the lower balcony) hangs over rows C to J. Visually, this doesn’t create any problems, but if you’re a sound junkie, then you’ll hear a noticeable difference if you’re under the overhang (starting in roughly at rows D or E). It’s also good to know that the loge overhangs the orchestra sections at row O.

Balcony Seats at Beacon Theatre

The lower balcony and upper balcony is really considered one section; however, there’s a split (or some space between these two areas). The view from the lower balcony to the upper balcony does change a significant amount, but so does the price of tickets. If you’re looking for the cheapest tickets for Beacon Theatre that aren’t obstructed, you won’t go wrong with seats in the sides of the lower or upper balcony. Even the most right or left sections have unobstructed sight lines. Note: the lower balcony overhangs the orchestra at row M.

In my opinion, the best seats at the Beacon Theatre for a concert are one of the first couple rows of the loge, or the first 10 rows of any of the center orchestra sections. Also, depending on the seat numbers, the side orchestra seats can also be a great deal.

Handicapped & ADA Seating at Beacon theatre

For those who are confined to a wheelchair and/or those looking to attend an event at Beacon Theatre with somebody who is, there is some important information that you’ll want to know. If you’re seeking ADA or handicapped seating, you’ll usually find that there are accessible rows at the top of the lower levels of the venue. If necessary, folding chairs will be provided with guests, such as ones looking to sit with a fan confined to a wheelchair. One trick you can use to filter tickets that are handicapped or ADA accessible is by using our “Additional filters +” button on the event page that allow you to select “ADA (wheelchair accessible),” which shows all seats that the seller has marked as handicapped seating.

  1. I just bought Mariah Carey tickets in section Orch4 Row S seats 42 and 44; I hope these are good seats as well. This will be our first time at the Beacon 🙂

  2. How bad is the obstruction? Is there any view at all? We have virtually the same tickets for Patti Smith on Nov 1o. I was unaware that the view was obstructed when I bought them. Just discovered it when I printed them out.

  3. Hi- did you end up sitting in those seats? ( Orch V 111-112). We have virtually the same for Patti Smith on Nov 10. How bad was the obstruction?

  4. Just bought tickets for Hot Tuna in November. I notice that they do not have a resell tab for Ticketmaster resale. Will that appear later or are there certain restrictions.
