
Celebrity Actors and Musicians Starring on Broadway in 2025
Next year promises several celebrity actor, dancer, and musician cameos on Broadway. There will be performances by George Clooney (Good Night, and Good Luck), Denzel Washington (Othello), as well as Broadway darlings such as Kristin Chenoweth (The Queen of Versailles). Fans will also get to see Dancing with the Stars alum and TikTok famous dancer Charli D’Amelio in & Juliet.

Bob Odenkirk, Kieran Culkin, Bill Burr: Glengarry Glen Ross
The revival of David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross finds itself an all-star cast rounded out by Bob Odenkirk, Kieran Culkin, and Bill Burr. The Pulitzer prize-winning play will have a strict 12-week limited run at the Palace Theatre, beginning with an opening set for March 31. The final show of Glengarry Glen Ross will be on June 28.
Kristin Chenoweth: The Queen of Versailles
Coming to the St. James Theater this fall will be The Queen of Versailles, starring celebrity Broadway actress Kristin Chenoweth. Based on the unbelievably wild documentary of the same name, The Queen of Versailles follows Jackie Siegel after she has gone from computer engineer to Mrs. Florida to billionairess.
With the Recession of 2008 looming on the Siegel’s like a Florida hurricane, The Queen of Versailles is the perfect storm of hilarity and drama. We can’t wait to see how Kristin Chenoweth breathes into the role of Jackie Siegel.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Denzel Washington: Othello
Shakespeare’s Othello will be staged next year at the Barrymore Theatre and will feature an incredible cast. Denzel Washington will take the titular role, while Jake Gyllenhaal will be playing his nemesis, Lago.
This upcoming production of Othello will be directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, who is also directing Our Town. See Othello at the Barrymore Theatre now through June 8.
Bernadette Peters: Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends
Coming straight from London’s West End to Samuel J. Friedman Theatre is Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends. Hailed as “unmissable musical theater,” the new rendition of Old Friends will be led by the irreplaceable Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga. Previews of Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends will begin March 25, 2025.

Nick Jonas: The Last Five Years
Next year, theater fans will have the chance to see the first-ever Broadway run of the beloved Jason Robert Brown play The Last Five Years. The production will be on Broadway for 14 weeks only, with previews beginning March 18, 2025.
The Last Five Years casts Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren as Jamie Wellerstein and Cathy Hiatt, their two perspective voices storytelling in opposite directions towards each other. The musical will be staged at the Millennium Hudson Theatre.
Jean Smart: Call Me Izzy
This summer, for 12 weeks only, six-time Emmy Award winner Jean Smart will star in Jamie Wax’s Call Me Izzy. The dark comedic Call Me Izzy centers on a writer in rural Louisiana who has a story to tell. We can’t think of anyone more fitting than Jean Smart to act in this incredibly moving character portrait, a tour-de-force role built for a tour-de-force actress. Performances begin May 24 at Studio 54.
Keanu Reeves: Waiting for Godot
Coming to Broadway Fall 2025 will be Waiting for Godot starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. The new Jamie Lloyd production of Samuel Beckett’s tragi-comic masterpiece will be at the Hudson Theatre, with performances beginning Sep. 13.
Waiting for Godot, which forever altered the atmosphere of contemporary dramatic plays, is ever-relevant to the times. We can’t wait to see what Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, Conor Lovett, and Rainn Wilson bring to the new staging this fall.
George Clooney: Good Luck, and Good Night
Two time Academy award-winning actor George Clooney will be making in credible stage debut by starring in the play adaptation of his 2005 film, Good Night, and Good Luck. Having directed and co-written the screenplay for the 2005 film, in which he also stars, we are very excited to see what Clooney will bring to this role as it enters the stage.
Fans can see Good Night, and Good Luck at the Winter Garden Theatre, with previews beginning March 12, 2025.

Charli D’Amelio and Joey Fatone: & Juliet
& Juliet has become one of the biggest draws on Broadway. The flipped, triumphant tale of Juliet if she had never ended it all for Romeo has been brought to life with an incredible list of actors and dancers. Now, fans can see Dancing with the Stars and social media celeb Charli D’Amelio and Joey Fatone among the & Juliet cast.
