It’s been the most incredible journey for young Chicago MC Chance the Rapper, who, just last night, received the BET Humanitarian of the Year Award. This Summer, Chance will continue his “Be Encouraged” Tour, which includes headlining performances at music festivals such as Lollapalooza and Life is Beautiful Festival in Vegas. For those of you who weren’t lucky enough to catch Chance at Governor’s Ball last month, we have some great news.
Chance has just announced that he will be making a stop at Forest Hills Stadium this Fall. Though Chance has been touring extensively in support of his Grammy award-winning album Coloring Book since the Spring, it looks like the 24 year old prodigy has plenty more in him for what will likely be a legendary show at Forest Hills Stadium.
The concert is set to take place September 26th. Chance will be supported by frequent collaborators Francis & the Lights—who has backed Chance on several live performances in the past—and DJ Oreo. According to recent concert reviews, Chance has been putting on quite the inspiring performance for his “Be Encouraged” Tour. With the help of a live band—Chance’s longtime friends and collaborators the Social Experiment—and a gospel choir, Chance has flawlessly conducted concerts around North America. In short: To see Chance bring Coloring Book to life on stage is definitely a must.
Chance the Rapper tickets for his show at Forest Hills Stadium this September, in addition to two shows at Hollywood Bowl in October, go on sale today, 6/26, at 5PM. So for those of you who weren’t there for that epic set at Governor’s Ball this month, you have one last chance to see one of Chicago’s best rappers this Fall.
