In what’s sure to be talked about as one of the most star-studded festivals of all time (as far as headlining acts are concerned), Coachella 2020 headliners will be singer Frank Ocean, rapper Travis Scott, and rock band Rage Against the Machine.

What makes this lineup so special is the incredibly rare opportunity it presents to fans of two of the three acts, as Frank Ocean hasn’t toured in the U.S. since 2012 and Rage Against the Machine haven’t toured for their American fans in over a decade. Travis Scott has proven he’s one of the most in-demand artists to see live after having the best-selling tour of 2018 in support of his hit album, Astroworld.

Now that the official lineup has been released by the festival, fans can see that it’s not just the headliners that will attract fans from all over the world. Undercards for this lineup include some heavy-hitters such as DJs like Calvin Harris and Flume, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, singer Lana Del Rey, and rising stars like DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, and Rex Orange County, among many, many others.

When is Coachella 2020?

The festival will be returning once again for two three-day weekends in October, after the original April dates were postponed due to COVID-19. Weekend One will be held October 9-11th and Weekend Two will be held October 16h-18th.

When Do Coachella 2020 Passes Go On Sale?

Weekend 1 passes have already sold out. The presale for Weekend 2 Passes begins on Monday, January 6th at 12 pm PT.

How to Purchase Coachella Festival Passes When They Go on Sale

First thing’s first. You’ll want to get an account on Front Gate Tickets, the official primary seller for Coachella tickets. Note that there are separate account pages for Weekend 1 and Weekend 2, and you will need a separate account for each if you want to buy passes for both weekends.

Before purchasing, be sure to read up on the rules and regulations when it comes to buying tickets, ticket limits, camping rules, etc. There are a lot. We’ve highlighted the main ones here, but it’s always good to know all the intricate details and really understand what you may be looking to buy, so check out the official Coachella FAQ page for answers to any of your questions.

Does Coachella Sell Single Day Tickets?

Most festivals only release full weekend passes – at first. Once they sell out of all of their full weekend passes, Coachella has traditionally released single day tickets for fans who are only looking to catch a single headliner. These single day passes hit the secondary market and do typically cost more than the price-per-day if you purchase the full 3-day pass at once, but if you’re only looking to go for one day or can make it one day, it’s worth saving the money and going with the single day.

How to Get the Cheapest Coachella 2020 Tickets

If you weren’t able to secure Coachella passes directly through the website’s original on sale, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Passes can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With the massive popularity of Coachella, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.

With high prices come high 10-20% service fees with many marketplaces, but not TickPick. Here at TickPick we have no service fees, making us your source for the cheapest Coachella 2020 passes on the secondary market. If you have not used TickPick before, you can sign up with the link below for $10 off your first purchase. If you have any questions regarding Coachella passes, please feel free to submit a request here.
