American rock band Dave Matthews Ban — perhaps better known by their initials, DMB — have just announced their annual run of summer tour dates for 2020. This slate of 40 dates will begin on June 16th at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT and will continue through September 23rd in Southaven, MS.

Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in major demand due to the fact that DMB may have the most passionate fan base of any band in music that travels all over to catch them in person as many times as possible, which begs the question: when do Dave Matthews Band tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?

When Do Dave Matthews Band Tickets Go On Sale and What Are the Presale Codes?

The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, February 21st at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to quickly buy tickets on Ticketmaster.

If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below:

  • The first available presale will be one for members of the Dave Matthews Warehouse Fan Association, which will begin on Thursday, January 23rd at 10 am local time. Fans who are paid members of this fan club will be able to request general tickets, exclusive premium packages, as well as premier parking and camping passes
  • Citi Cardmember and Platinum Ticket presales will begin on Tuesday, February 18th at 10 am local time. The Citi presale code will be 412800, but keep in mind that you’ll need a Citi card in order to complete your purchase.

We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.

Are There Any Purchase Limits for Dave Matthews Band Tickets?

There is a two (2) ticket limit for the GA Pit & reserved floor seats, four (4) ticket limit for the lower bowl & six (6) ticket limit for the upper bowl for presales & first 24 hours. After first 24 hours, there is a ten (10) ticket limit for the event. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets through these presales can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.

How to Get Sold Out Dave Matthews Band Tickets

If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Dave Matthews Band, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. When a band as successful and popular as Dave Matthews Band announces a tour, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
