Rock jam band Dead & Company have just announced a new leg of summer 2020 tour dates. The band consisting of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kruetzmann, and joined by Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and John Mayer will begin this tour run on July 10th in Boulder, CO and will continue through August 8th at Boston’s Fenway Park.
Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in major demand because of Dead & Co’s incredible reputation and dedicated fan base who have been “Deadheads” for years, which begs the question: when do Dead & Company tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?
When Do Dead & Company Tickets Go On Sale and What Are the Presale Codes?
There’s a Ticketmaster Verified Fan Presale registration, which is currently open for registration through Sunday, February 9th at 10 pm ET. You’ll need to login with your Ticketmaster account, or else you’ll be prompted to create an account with them during registration. Read more on Ticketmaster Verified Fan here.
If you’re verified, you’ll receive a text on Tuesday, February 11th prior to the verified fan presale at 10 am that day, which includes a unique access code. This text would come anywhere from 2-4 hours prior to the presale.
There are a few things to keep in mind regarding this verified fan presale registration, and those are:
- Registering does NOT guarantee that you’ll be verified, receive an access code, or that you’ll have the ability to purchase these tickets.
- There is a four (4) tickets limit MAXIMUM per purchaser per access code.
The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, February 14th at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to quickly buy tickets on Ticketmaster.
If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below:
- Verified Fan, Platinum Ticket and American Express Cardmember presales will begin on Tuesday, February 11th at 10 am local time and fans may use the AMEX presale code INGOLD, but keep in mind that you’ll need to use an AMEX card for payment.
- There will be Local Venue, AEG, Sirius, Ticketmaster, LiveNation and LiveNation Mobile App presales that will take place on Thursday, February 13th at 10 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be SOLO, while the Mobile App code will be COVERT.
We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.
Are There Any Purchase Limits for Dead & Company Tickets?
There is an overall four (4) ticket limit for this event. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets through these presales can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.
How To Get Sold Out Dead & Company Tickets
If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Dead & Company, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a band that has a major following like this, prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
