Deep Purple: The Long Goodbye Tour | Presale & Cheap Ticket Info

Legendary English rockers Deep Purple – whom many consider to be the pioneers of heavy metal/hard rock – have just announced an upcoming North American tour that will be dubbed the ‘The Long Goodbye Tour,’ hinting that this may be a farewell tour that is their fans’ last opportunity to catch them perform live. This tour will begin on September 3rd in Riverside, CA and will extend through October 19th in Minneapolis, MN.

Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in very high demand due to Deep Purple’s status as one the biggest names in rock history, which begs the question: when do Deep Purple tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?

When Do Deep Purple Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?

The on-sale date for the general public begins on Friday, May 10th at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to buy tickets on Ticketmaster fast.

  • There will be VIP Package and Citi Cardmember presales that will begin on Tuesday, May 7th at 11 am EST. The Citi presale code will be 412800, but you’ll need a Citi card in order to complete your purchase.
  • A Ticketmaster presale will be available starting on Wednesday, May 8th at 11 am local time.
  • Ticketmaster, Local Venue, LiveNation, and LiveNation Mobile App presales will begin on Thursday, May 9th at 11 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be REPLAY, and the Mobile App presale code will be COVERT.

We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.

Are There Any Purchase Limits for Deep Purple Tickets?

There is a six (6) ticket limit for the VIP packages. There is an eight (8) ticket limit for the rest of the event. Please be wary of exceeding these limits or else you may put any orders you have in jeopardy of being cancelled without your consent by the box office and/or TicketMaster.

Deep Purple Tickets Sold Out – Now what?

If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Deep Purple, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. When an established act like Deep Purple tours, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
