The legendary rock band Eagles have just announced additional dates for their North American tour that will take them through some of the country’s major cities in the winter of 2020. Making this tour even more special for their fans is that they’ve promised to play their most acclaimed album, Hotel California, in its entirety during all tour stops. New shows have just been announced in Atlanta, New York, NY, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO (2), St. Paul, MN (2), and Inglewood, CA. Tickets for previously announced shows are currently on sale.
The band’s lineup will be comprised of Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Vince Gill, Timothy B. Schmit, and late band co-founder Glenn Frey’s son, Deacon Frey. Their tour kicks off in Atlanta on February 7th and will continue through at least April 18th in Los Angeles.
Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in huge demand given the band’s extreme popularity, as well as the die hard nature of their fan base that the band has earned over a number of decades now, which begs the question: when do Eagles tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?
When Do Eagles Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?
The on sale date for the general public will be Friday, November 1st at 10 am local time. If you attempt to go this route, we recommend reading up on how to buy tickets on Ticketmaster fast.
If you’re looking to get tickets before the general on sale to try and get a jump on others seeking Eagles tickets, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below:
- American Express cardholder and Platinum Ticket presales begin on Monday, October 28th at 10 am local time. Keep in mind that you’d need an AMEX card to complete your purchase at checkout, and the presale code will be INGOLD.
- Sirius, Local Venue, SiriusXM, LiveNation, and LiveNation Mobile App presales will begin on Thursday, October 31st at 10 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be ROCKSTAR, and the Mobile App presale code will be COVERT.
We always recommend following venues and Eagles’ social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.
Are There Any Purchase Limits for Eagles Tickets?
There is an overall eight (8) ticket limit for this event. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets through these presales can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.
How to Get Sold Out Eagles Tickets
If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Eagles, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. When it comes to an extremely successful band like Eagles who have a large following built over the last handful of decades, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
