Everything We Know About Ariana Grande’s New Album
Last week (1/7) Ariana Grande announced that her first new single, since 2020’s Positions, will arrive on Friday, January 12th. The new single is titled “yes, and?” A few days later, in a new music trailer, Grande clarified that the new single will debut at 7 AM PST.
Fans have been scouring, and theorizing, across the internet to patch together clues about Ariana Grande’s new album. Though the artist has remained fairly tight-lipped about her upcoming seventh album, some facts about it have become known.
Here is Everything We Know About Ariana Grande’s New Album, including: possible album titles, potential guests, the album cover art, and more.
What is the title of Ariana Grande’s new album?
At first, fans wondered if the title of Ariana Grande’s new album was the same as her upcoming single: yes, and? It’s a very Ariana-esque title, resembling the vibe of thank u, next. But just a day after revealing the title of the single, Grande cleared some of the smoke.
“p.s. i couldn’t wait any longer to tell you that although this is not the album title, it is indeed the album cover (well…….one of them!),” the vocalist wrote on her Instagram Story Monday (Jan. 8).
But Grande has left her fans with other clues to contemplate. The “yes, and?” teaser trailer opens with a card being flipped over in someone’s hand, one side printed with directional coordinates. Fans googled the coordinates which led them to Montauk, New York, where the film, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, took place.
Following the coordinate theory, an Instagram fan account posted a clip from the film, and Grande commented a red heart on it. Fans also noted that her late boyfriend Mac Miller was known to love the film. This has led fans to believe Ariana Grande’s new album will be titled: Eternal Sunshine.
In short: we don’t know what the title of Ariana Grande’s new album is, not yet. But we expect the fan theories to get even better, and more precise, as the album roll-out continues.
What is the album cover art for AG7?
The announcement of the single “yes, and?” came with a blurred image of Ariana Grande. She is wearing bright red lipstick, a pearl earring, and cat-eye makeup, a classic look. In the same message where she informed fans that “yes, and?” is not the new album title, she confirmed the poster is part of the new album cover.
“p.s. i couldn’t wait any longer to tell you that although this is not the album title, it is indeed the album cover (well…….one of them!),”
This won’t be the only album art Ariana Grande uses for her new album, which will likely come in deluxe and vinyl editions as well. But it will be a central image to the final AG7.

Who will appear on Ariana Grande’s new album?
When it comes to Ariana Grande albums, fans can truly expect the highest level of production, stunning vocals, and incredible guest features. Positions only held three features, but all are top tier artists—The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and Ty Dolla $ign.
Who do we think will appear on Ariana Grande’s upcoming album? We are fairly certain there will be a Nicki Minaj feature, as the artists have been huge supporters of each other as of late.
If we’re following the “Eternal Sunshine” thread, we think there’s a good chance Ariana Grande will feature the late Mac Miller. There are any number of dazzling samples Grande could use to honor his life and artistry. She has already sampled Mac Miller in the past, such as “2009” which appeared on Positions.
This album will also be Grande’s first since signing with her new manager Brandon Creed. This change means Grande has joined an impressive roster of clients, including Demi Lovato, Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Orville Peck, Mark Ronson, and Normani. We wouldn’t be surprised if at least a couple of these artists make it onto Ariana Grande’s new album. Most have even collaborated with Grande in the past, such as Troye Sivan on “Dance to This.”
When is Ariana Grande releasing her new album?
Positions debuted just a week after the release of its first single. Which means, Ariana Grande will coule release the rest of her new album as early as January 19th.
However, the release of her fifth LP, thank u, next, was much more drawn out. The time between the first single, the album title track, came a full three months before the rest of the album.
We think, if we’re following her social media closely and drawing our own conclusions, AG7 will arrive somewhere in between those two estimates. Longer than a week, but not a full month. We would be surprised if the rest of Ariana Grande’s new album isn’t here before, or on, February 2nd.
Will Ariana Grande tour in 2024?
We think it’s a definite possibility that Ariana Grande will tour this year in support of this new album. We haven’t seen Ariana in concert since before the pandemic, making this stretch one of the longest she’s gone from performing live.
The last Ariana Grande tour, the “Sweetener Tour,” was announced three months after the arrival of Sweetener. Could Ariana Grande announce her U.S tour dates in April? We think it’s possible.
Stay tuned, as one of the biggest album roll-outs of the year continues.
