2025 Super Bowl Ticket Prices

Below, you’ll see the pricing market of previous Super Bowls since 2019, including Super Bowl tickets 2025 prices. We track the prices from 20 days out, just after the Divisional Round is set and the final four teams in the AFC and NFC are known.

This is historically when we see sales start to really come in, and prices can fluctuate.

2024 Super Bowl Ticket Prices

Super Bowl tickets 2024 in Vegas was one of the most expensive on record. It was a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs (once again) and San Francisco 49ers, a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami. Here is what our co-CEO told fans the Friday before the game:

My name is Brett Goldberg and I’m the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of TickPick. This is my 12th Super Bowl at TickPick, so as we head into the weekend I wanted to give my perspective on how the market has behaved to this point and where we think it goes from here.

Last Friday, we mentioned that the last time these two teams played in 2020, the best time to buy ended up being about 7 days out from the event. It seems possible that a similar scenario is playing out for the rematch, with pricing up since last Saturday.

We’ve also discussed how more fans seemed content waiting until closer to the game to purchase tickets, which continues to be the case, with our site traffic up considerably compared to last year. It’s also worth noting that I landed in Vegas last night, and our data seems to be backed up by the fact that most people I’ve talked to here who are planning on going to the game haven’t bought their tickets yet.

If you are one of those people who have been patient to this point, I want to stress that these next 48 hours will be volatile. If I were planning on attending the game, I would consider purchasing my tickets within the next 24 hours. It seems unlikely that we see tickets drop below $7,000 again. But at the end of the day, it’s up to you to decide what’s best for you.

While prices decreased slightly from the day after the AFC Championship and NFC Championship games, the average Super Bowl 2024 ticket prices never got below $8,977 during that last weekend before the game.

2023 Super Bowl Ticket Prices

Cheapest Ticket Purchased: $2,880 in Section 407 (Upper Sideline)

Super Bowl LVII in Arizona at State Farm Stadium featured a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. This was a huge matchup between the league’s two best teams and the two best quarterbacks that year, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts.

This was the first Super Bowl appearance for the Eagles since 2018 and the Chiefs’ third appearance in the past four seasons, so Eagles fans were a bit more motivated to see their team than the Chiefs since it had been a longer wait.

Here is the advice we gave to fans in one of our past newsletters sent out on the Friday before the game (2 days prior):

So what should we expect from now on through kickoff? We anticipate about 50% of our total orders from today through Sunday, as has been the case in the past few years. We’re now below the inventory peak, and given the current demand,  it’s unlikely that enough additional tickets will be listed to create another significant pricing drop.

If you are still in the market for tickets and want to buy before game day, there probably isn’t much incentive to keep waiting.

2022 Super Bowl Ticket Prices

Cheapest Ticket Purchased: $1,733 in Section 513 (Upper Level Premium)

Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium was back to regular full attendance, and as such, prices were pretty standard for Super Bowl 2022 tickets.

The game featured the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams, who became the second straight Super Bowl winner to host the game in its own home stadium, which certainly impacted the market for home fans who didn’t need to be concerned about travel and lodging.

What we were advising as of the day before Super Bowl LI on 2/12/22: We’re less than 24 hours away from kickoff, and the market has started to stabilize since our last check-in. Those few listings in the $3,300 range will end up at the bottom of the market. Get-in prices shot back up to $4,500 before settling back in the $3,500-$4,000 range. From a purchasing perspective, Friday was our busiest day, with fans showing more patience today. That will set us up for a very volatile Super Bowl Sunday, which could mean that tonight is the right time to buy.

2021 Super Bowl Ticket Prices

Cheapest Ticket Purchased: $2,430 in Section 316 (Upper-Level Endzone)

Super Bowl LV was held under unprecedented circumstances at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The attractive matchup of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs was held amid a severe period of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health and safety protocols limited the availability of tickets, with the capacity for the game capped at 25,000 spectators. Of that number, the NFL also provided 7,500 free tickets to vaccinated healthcare workers. Attendance was the lowest in Super Bowl history. That means that the price of a Super Bowl LV ticket was skewed by a set of conditions that did not factor in previous Super Bowl ticket prices.

2020 Super Bowl Ticket Prices

Cheapest Ticket Purchased: $3,561 (Upper-Level End Zone)

Below is what we were advising as of 1/29/20: Ticket price values have been more volatile than we’ve seen in years past, but 2019 is starting to shape up compared to 2018. Prices had been trending down since the matchup was set between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, and demand appeared to be low.

That’s changed since this weekend, with prices rebounding. As of this writing, the get-in price is $3,298. So, now, when is the best time to buy a ticket? If you haven’t purchased a ticket yet, you must decide if you will play this waiting game. I’ll be honest; as a fan, I personally don’t enjoy the roller coaster ride of the pricing fluctuations.

If you’re uncomfortable playing the waiting game to buy tickets until late this week, you should strongly consider buying now. I say that because, from a momentum perspective, the amount of inventory makes me believe we’ll see prices increase before they decrease.

However, if you have patience and aren’t in a rush, I’d likely wait, as I don’t believe these get-in prices will hold. You must come to your own conclusions and trust your gut.

General Super Bowl Ticket-Buying Advice

While there are fluctuations in market prices that can vary from year to year, there are some general strategies that we’ve found tend to be more consistent with Super Bowl ticket prices over the years.

  1. If you’re looking at upper-level tickets, but they’re a bit out of your price range, wait. Buy them if you come across a set of tickets in your price range in the two weeks leading up to the game.
  2. Pull the trigger if you’re interested in sitting in lower-level or club sections and tickets are within your budget. Ticket prices in the lower levels (especially in the premium sections) are less elastic than the upper levels, so the risk of waiting for prices to drop won’t yield a high reward.
  3. If you consider yourself a fiscally conservative person or someone who tries to avoid stressful situations, pull the trigger. The potential to save money on tickets won’t be worth the anxiety of not having them, significantly if prices increase.
  4. If you consider yourself a risk-taker or enjoy tracking the ebb-and-flow of a market, wait. Monitor ticket prices and inventory levels daily and enjoy the ride.
