SINGLES
Pentatonix: “Meet Me Next Christmas”
Set to appear in the upcoming Netflix film by the same name is a new Pentatonix holiday single, “Meet Me Next Christmas.” The famous a cappella quintet has delivered another catchy pop holiday tune, featuring the group’s pristine voices and roaming parts. If you haven’t seen them in concert, consider catching Pentatonix on their upcoming holiday tour. There are still plenty of Pentatonix tickets available for their concerts this season.
Kesha: “Holiday Road”
Who would have thought Kesha, a purveyor of pop, would deliver such a stunning cover of Lindsey Buckingham’s “Holiday Road?” Delivered to us as a new Spotify single, the new track, just over two minutes long, is a hard left turn from its original. But we love the pop sensitivity and Kesha’s perfectly slotted vocals. This version gets adequately zany, matching Lindsey Buckingham’s playfulness in the original. We predict Kesha’s “Holiday Road” is going to bump at many holiday parties this season.
Blake Shelton: “Go Tell It On The Mountain”
Several stars were enlisted for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever soundtrack, one of them being Blake Shelton. His new single, “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” is a toe-tapping rendition of a beloved holiday standard.
Blake Shelton will perform in Las Vegas at the beginning of next year. He will embark on a spring U.S tour shortly after. You can still find plenty of cheap Blake Shelton tickets on TickPick.
Kelly Clarkson: “You for Christmas”
Included on the recent re-release of Kelly Clarkson’s grammy-winning holiday album When Christmas Comes Around…Again is the cheery new single “You For Christmas.” Co-produced by the internationally renown producer Mark Ronson, “You For Christmas” is an upbeat romp with Clarkson’s dazzling, honeyed vocals at the center. Be sure to check out “Sleigh Ride” as well, the second of her new When Christmas Comes Around singles.
