How Are the Seats Numbered at the Forum?

The basic setup at the Kia Forum features center sections with up to 16 seats in a row. Other sections have 28 seats in each row. Seat 1 starts on the left, looking towards the stage. Kia Forum seating chart rows in floor sections can have 12 seats with the same left-to-right numbering system. 

When selecting a seat, choose one with a higher number on the right-hand side of the arena to be closer to the performer. If you’re looking at the left-hand side, the lower seat numbers will put you closer to the stage. 

Where Is the Kia Forum Located? 

The Kia Forum opened in 1967 in Inglewood, California. It’s located at 3900 W. Manchester Blvd, north of SoFi Stadium. The vision for the Forum was to create the sports “Taj Mahal” for Los Angeles. When it opened, it was seen as a groundbreaking sports venue. 

The Kia Forum was originally home to two NBA teams and one NHL team. The Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Los Angeles Kings played home games at the Forum from 1967 to 1999. After the NBA teams left for their own arenas, the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks played at the Forum from 1997 to 2001. 

The venue has changed owners several times. It’s not home to any sports team and is now the only arena-sized venue in the country dedicated to music and entertainment. 

How Many Seats Does The Kia Forum Have? 

The Kia Forum is a versatile venue with different seating configurations. The venue has a seating capacity of 17,500. 

However, depending on the event, the arena can be converted into a half-bowl with only 8,000 seats. For larger events, the general admission floor section can become an ample space for guests.

Is the Kia Forum Seated? 

The Kia Forum is primarily seated, with some standing-room-only tickets available for some events. General Admission sections do not always have assigned seating. Typically, these tickets are for standing-room only.

Where To Park for the Kia Forum?

On-site parking is available at the Kia Forum. Guests can enter the parking lot from the Prairie Ave. or Kareem Ct. gates. If you’re paying upon arrival, cash and all major credit cards are accepted. 

You can also find off-site parking close to the Forum. Using a ride-share or public transportation is encouraged. There are places for ride-share pick-up and drop-off in lot “H,” which is at the cross streets of Pincay Dr. and Prairie Ave. If you’re taking the LA Metro Bus Lines, get on 211/215 and bring it to the Prairie/Manchester or Prairie/Kelso stops.

Guests should review the parking map before driving to the Forum to plan the most efficient route. There may be heavy traffic before an event, so leave time for parking. 

Kia Forum Parking Price

The parking price at the Kia Forum varies depending on the lot. There is general parking available, which costs approximately $25. There is also preferred parking available, which is generally $40. The preferred parking spots are closer to the venue entrances. 

Guests can also park at an adjacent lot at Hollywood Park for $20. The Kia Forum offers accessible parking and spaces for vans on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Guests can purchase parking in advance. The parking lots typically open 90 minutes to two hours before the event. However, it’s best to check before you leave. Overnight parking is not allowed at the Kia Forum.

What Is the Kia Forum Bag Policy?

The Kia Forum has a clear bag policy to help ensure everyone’s safety. They encourage guests not to bring a lot of items into the venue. However, guests are allowed to get a clear bag.

Clear Bag Policy:

• Clear Bags that are equal to or smaller than 12 x 6 x 12
• Clear plastic freezer bags that are 1-gallon size or smaller
• Small clutches/wristlets 9 x 6 are allowed and don’t have to be clear 
• Diaper and medical bags are allowed when accompanied by the guest using them
  

Guests cannot bring in video cameras, monopods, tripods, or audio recording devices, even 

if they fit in the clear bag. Guests are welcome to bring non-professional or disposable cameras into the Kia Forum. However, there are shows where photography is prohibited.
