Mac Miller Announces New Album ‘The Divine Feminine’

Yesterday morning on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show Mac Miller showed up to announce his new album The Divine Feminine, set to drop September 16th. The album comes out just a year after the release of GO:OD AM, Miller’s best and most mature album to date. In addition to releasing album and upcoming tour info, Mac Miller dropped the first single off The Divine Feminine, a laid-back funk tune that grooves well and features rising rapper Anderson .Paak. Check out the track titled “Dang!” below:

According to Miller, his fourth studio album has been brought to life with the help of Cee-Lo, Anderson .Paak, Robert Glasper, Kendrick Lamar, and more. The Divine Feminine turned into a concept for Mac Miller. According to the artist, the new album is about “the energy of the world being a female energy, the energy of the planet”, and mother Earth. The theme is felt on “Dang!”, a genuine and reflective love-inspired song that really diversifies Miller’s catalog of music. We’re excited to see what else Mac Miller has created in a year since GO:OD AM. Check out Mac Miller’s upcoming tour dates below, and stay tuned for the release of concert tickets soon.
