Sublime With Rome
Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson (and formerly Bud Gaugh), formerly of the band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. The group chiefly performs songs by Sublime, which was fronted by Bradley Nowell until his death in 1996. Gaugh left the band in 2011, but Sublime with Rome continues to tour,with Josh Freese taking Gaugh’s place.

Though the band’s following is still largely underground, they have a massive appeal that any alternative rock music listener can appreciate. Besides his introspective lyrics, California based rapper Ab-Soul is best known for creating the West Coast hip-hop group Black Hippy. Ab-Soul, along with label mates Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Kendrick Lamar, helped bring the California rap scene to it’s level of mainstream recognition, all while maintaining independent artistic integrity.

Hailing from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Isaiah Rashad takes his preacher like demeanor and turns it into another form of spoken word: rap. Affiliated with fellow hip-hop performers and Black Hippy crew members Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad is still successfully riding the break he caught by joining Juicy J on tour back in 2012.
