For any Vikings Game at the Mall of America Metrodome, seat 1 is always located closer to the lower numbered adjacent section. For example, seat 1 in section 110 would be closest to seat 28 in section 109.

The best seats to see the Minnesota Vikings are at, or near, the 50 yard line. So when trying to decide which Vikings tickets you should buy, consider the higher numbered seats in sections 100 – 109, 133 – 141, 200 – 209, & 230 – 239. Also, consider the lower seat numbers on the opposite side of the field, sections 210 – 229 & sections 110 – 132.

Rows: Sections in the 100’s have either 33 or 36 rows. Sections in the 200’s have between 26 and 30 rows.

Benches: The Vikings Bench is located on the side closest to section 110.  The Visiting Team at the Mall of America Metrodome is located on the side closest to section 134.

Namesake: As it’s name implies, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was named in honor of one of the most famous public figures in Minnesota. Humphrey, who died in 1978, once served as Mayor of Minneapolis, a U.S. Senator, and most widely recognized, as the Vice President of the United States. The metrodome was given the namesake of a man who contributed a great deal to both the state of Minnesota and the entire country in which it resides.

The Mall of America purchased naming rights in 2009, making it the Mall of America Field at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. This mouthful, however, only applies to the field which the Vikings play on, not to the Stadium as a whole.
