How Many Fans Will T-Mobile Center Allow for the 2021 NCAA Men’s Big 12 Tournament

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Big 12 Conference announced a limited capacity of 20%, approximately 3,700 fans, to attend the upcoming Big 12 Tournament. This will be made possible through limiting fans to sit together within pods that allow for safe social distancing.

The Best Seats at the Big 12 Tournament

Sitting in sections 116-118 will put you close to the action at center court and their mirrored sections, 105-107 will put you behind the teams benches. If you can’t get in the lower level we’d recommend sections 208-209 and 224-225 as those will give you the best center court view in the upper level.

The Worst Seats at the Big 12 Tournament

We don’t recommend sitting in the upper level baseline area in sections 215-218, and 231-232/201-202 as some views may be limited/obstructed. As a general rule of thumb, when searching for tickets to the Big 12 Tournament, you want to be as close to center court as possible. For example, I would rather sit in the Club (C) 200s level or 300 level near mid court than sit in the 100 level behind one of the baskets.

Where Are the Designated Fan Sections for the 2021 Big 12 Tournament?

In normal years, the NCAA has designated fan sections for each team playing. We believe there will be some sort of socially-distanced means of keeping fans of the same schools together this year, but we’ll provide this information as soon as it’s available!

Where Are the Student Sections for the 2021 Big 12 Tournament?

The student sections for each university will be designated for students of the participating teams only, and although the NCAA has yet to formally announce it for this year’s 2021 Big 12 Tournament, the student sections will likely be located in front of the baseline sections.

Big 12 Tournament Seat Number Information

For any section, seat number 1 is always closer to the adjacent section with a lower number, for example seat number 1 of Floor 2 is next to section Floor 1 and seat number 14 of Floor 2 is next to section floor 3. Both Floor 1 and 3 have 8 seats in each row (seat #8 of floor 1 is towards the center of the stage as well as seat #1 of floor 3).

Most sections within the 200s have up to 21 seats per a row however some rows have as many as 25 seats (the higher the row, the more seat numbers). In the 100s sections most rows have 22 seats, but some rows only have 18 seats.
