Legendary American alternative rock band Pearl Jam have just announced an upcoming North American 2020 tour in support of their upcoming album, Gigaton, which is set to drop on March 27th. This will be the band’s first new material since they released Lightning Bolt in 2013, which will have fans clamoring to see them perform live for the first time in years.
The environmentally-conscious and mega-popular rockers will begin their tour on March 18th in Toronto, ON and continue through April 19th in Oakland, CA.
Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in huge demand because of the band’s limited touring schedule over the past few years, in addition to them having an extremely loyal fan base which always leads to sold out shows across the board and begs the question: when do Pearl Jam tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?
When Do Pearl Jam Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?
The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, January 24th at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to quickly buy tickets on Ticketmaster.
Registration has begun for both Ten Club Members and TicketMaster Verified Fan Presale and are open for registration through Wednesday, January 15th at 11:59 pm. If you have any questions about the Verified Fan platform, read this blog about it here.
Ten Club Members will receive their request confirmations by the Sunday night on January 19th.
Verified Fan invitations will be sent on the night of Wednesday, January 22nd.
If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below.
- The Verified Fan presale for those who received a presale code will begin on Thursday, January 23rd at 10 am local time.
We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.
It’s also important to note that for this tour, Pearl Jam is limiting transferability for tickets for events in all states with the exception of New York and Colorado. This means that on the night of these shows, all guests have to arrive with the person who originally bought the tickets in order to be admitted entry for their seats.
For fans in states other than NY and CO who cannot use the tickets that they’ve purchased, Pearl Jam is offering a fan-to-fan exchange beginning on February 18th that will allow fans to buy and sell their tickets for face value only, and allow the transfer of tickets to those fans through Ticketmaster.
Are There Any Purchase Limits for Pearl Jam Tickets?
There will be a four (4) ticket purchase limit per Verified Fan presale code and all general sales. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.
How to Get Sold Out Pearl Jam Tickets
If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Pearl Jam, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. When a band as successful and popular as Pearl Jam announces a tour, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
