PPG Paints Arena Seat Numbers and Rows

Where is your seat number? At the PPG Paints Arena, knowing where your seats are within any given section is very easy. The direction of seat numbers within a row is consistent, so seat number 1 will always be closer to the section next to it with the lower section number.

For example, seat number 1 in section 112 will be on the aisle next to section 111, while seat number 20 will be on the aisle next to section 113 (see map above).

Sections 202, 203, 219, and 220 are the smallest-looking sections on the map because they only have 14 seats per row, while the average 200 section has 20 seats per row. In section 106, you’ll also see another good example of this. The first row in this (pyramid-shaped) section only has 8 seats, while the last row has 26 seats.

PPG Paints Arena Row and Seat Numbers for the 100s Sections

Sections 104 and 110 have the most seats per row, starting with just 15 seats in the first row and increasing to 37 seats by the last row (Row X). There’s an additional aisleway for these sections to get to your seats between rows K and X.

For section 104, seats 12 and 15 will always be on the aisles for rows K to X (in addition to seats 1 and 18-37, depending on your row).

For section 110, seat number 26 will always be on the inside aisle. Unfortunately, the seat numbers on the other side of the aisle change, starting from seat 12 (for row K) and working their way up to seat 23 in row X. This is due to the diagonal nature and increased seats per row in this section.

Sections 101, 103, 107, 111, 113, and 118 have 14 seats per row. Sections 114 and 122 have 12 seats per row. Most other sections in the 100s have between 20 and 30 seats per row.

Sections 116, 117, 118, and 119 start with row A, go to row Z, and then have rows AA to EE after them.

Note: When looking for tickets near the glass, if you are not in the first row, the best seats with the best views will be 7 to 20 (rows F to T).

Helpful Comments From Penguins Fans

“The hockey rink is really nice–there is not a single bad seat.  You can follow the hockey puck (mostly) from even seats up high.  I recommend entering through the Verizon Gate, which seems to be less busy.  There is also plenty of parking–the further you park from the Rink, the cheaper it is.”

“Even though we sat up high in section 214 among the sold-out crowd, the overhead view of the ice was perfect for watching the Pens attack the net.”

“Comfortable seats, good site views, huge monitor display off the ceiling at center ice for replays – all top notch.”

“Allow a lot of travel time – there’s very limited parking close to the arena”

Handicapped & ADA Seating at PPG Paints Arena

For those who are confined to a wheelchair and/or those looking to attend a game at PPG Paints Arena with somebody who is, there is some important information that you’ll want to know. If you’re seeking ADA or handicapped seating, you’ll find accessible rows at the top of most sections within the venue that are spread throughout.

If necessary, folding chairs will be provided to guests, such as those looking to sit with a fan confined to a wheelchair. One trick you can use to filter tickets that are handicapped or ADA accessible is to use our “Additional filters +” button on the event page. This button allows you to select “ADA (wheelchair accessible),” which shows all seats that the seller has marked as handicapped seating.
