Legendary singer-songwriter Rod Stewart has just announced a new tour that will take place in amphitheaters all across North America in the summer of 2020. This tour will support Stewart’s career-spanning recent studio album, You’re In My Heart: Rod Stewart With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Fellow legacy rock band Cheap Trick will serve as the opening act for Stewart throughout this entire run of tour dates.

Fans can expect tickets for these shows to be in great demand due to Rod Stewart’s loyal and massive fan base, who know that they may not have many further opportunities to catch one of their favorite artists perform as he surely nears retirement, which prompts the question: when do Rod Stewart tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?

When Do Rod Stewart Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?

The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, January 10th at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to quickly buy tickets on Ticketmaster.

  • Citi Cardmember, VIP Package, Platinum ticket and Fan Club presales will begin on Tuesday, January 7th at 10 am local time. The Citi presale code will be 412800, but keep in mind that you’ll need a Citi card in order to complete your purchase.
  • A Cheap Trick Fan Club presale will start on Wednesday, January 8th at 10 am local time.
  • LiveNation and LiveNation Mobile App presales will begin on Thursday, January 9th at 10 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be CHEER, while the Mobile App presale code will be COVERT.

We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.

Are There Any Purchase Limits for Rod Stewart Tickets?

There is an overall eight (8) ticket limit for this event. Please be wary of exceeding these limits or else you may put any orders you have in jeopardy of being cancelled without your consent by the box office and/or TicketMaster.
