The Seattle Kraken are the NHL’s newest expansion franchise, and they’ll be playing all of their home games at Climate Pledge Arena, which is the remodeled and renovated former KeyArena. It will be the first net zero carbon certified arena in the world, which is befitting of its name.

Climate Pledge Arena Capacity
The initial plans call for the multi-purpose arena to have a capacity of 17,100 for Kraken games, with the modern, upscale amenities that come standard with new arenas.
Seat Numbers at Climate Pledge
Climate Pledge Arena follows a uniform seating pattern. The lowest seat number in a given section will be closest to the adjacent lower section. For example, seat 1 in section 102 would be closest to the highest seat number in section 101, and the highest seat number in section 102 would be closest to seat number 1 in section 103.
Seattle Kraken Bench Location
Both team benches are located in front of section 1, with the home team bench located on the left and closer to section 26, and the visitors’ bench is on the right side closer to section 2.
On Which End of the Ice Do the Seattle Kraken Shoot Twice?
The Kraken shoot twice on the end of the ice where the goal is in front of sections 7 and 8.

The penalty box at Climate Pledge Arena is located in front of section 14.
Handicapped & ADA Seating at Climate Pledge Arena
For those who are confined to a wheelchair and/or those looking to attend a game at Climate Pledge Arena with somebody who is, there is some important information that you’ll want to know. If you’re seeking ADA or handicapped seating, you’ll find that there are accessible rows at the top of most sections within the venue and spread throughout. If necessary, folding chairs will be provided to guests, such as ones looking to sit with a fan confined to a wheelchair.
