Tell us about it, Selena! Will Selenators get a chance to see the pop artist on tour this year or not? While nothing has been officially released yet, here’s why we think Selena Gomez might be going on tour in 2015.

First of all, Selena Gomez is definitely releasing an album soodn. While the name of the album is yet to be announced, she has hinted at it plenty of times, starting with this uncaptioned pic of her in the studio.

Fans got the message, and during her Google Hangout to promote her NEO clothing line from Adidas, they peppered her with questions about what music she was working on.

“I’ve been endlessly working on my new album, that’s almost kind of close to being done,” Gomez told her fans. “I’ve been in the studio constantly, and I’m so anxious for you guys to see everything and hear everything. But just know that it’s the best that I’ve ever done and you guys won’t be disappointed. I wish I could play it for you now but I can’t.”

A little while later, she told Women’s Wear Daily that the new album has a little bit of “darkness” in it. Could she be referring to her turbulent relationship with (hopefully still) ex beau Justin Bieber? Logic says yes, but apparently an anonymous source told Hollywood Life that songs about Justin “are not in the plan.”

Really?

First of all, how trustworthy are these anonymous sources Hollywood magazines consistently quote? Not very, I reckon. Secondly, how can anyone write about a dark time in their life without mentioning Justin Bieber? Hell, I’ve never met the guy, but if I ever make an album, you know its gonna have an Adele-level tearjerker about the negative impact the Biebs and his music has had on my life.

We already got a taste of the darkness Selena mentioned in her interview from “The Heart Wants What It Wants”, which was so obviously about her relationship with Justin, and I’m sure we’re in for more. After all, her best friend is Taylor Swift, who’s notorious for singing about her exes.

Adding to the album rumors, Selena posted this tantalizing pic on Instagram:

The picture looks to be a still from a yet-to-be-released music video off the new album. By the way, look at the caption again. What ever happened to ‘when you’re ready, come and get it’?

And just the other day she tweeted this pic of her and Nat Wolff, mostly known for his role as the blind guy in The Fault in Our Stars and a singer/songwriter/composer in his own right.

Looks like something is brewing between those two, and I, for one, can’t wait to see the results!

Will Selena Gomez Tour in 2015?

With the release of her new album around the corner, I feel like it’s almost certain that the pop star will give her North American fans a chance to see her this year. Moreover,
OMG Concert’s Nik Hatziefstathiou claimed that she “peeped” (who the hell gave him access?) to tour schedules for Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Lorde, which if he’s telling the truth (is he??) obviously means that there are plans in the works for all of those artists to tour sometime soon.
