The Los Angeles Dodgers Are Chasing History

The Los Angeles Dodgers are running away with the NL West crown. Currently sporting a commanding 14-game division lead and the best record in the MLB, it’s safe to say the Dodgers have locked up a playoff spot – and more importantly – home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

It’s not hard to imagine how the Dodgers are so dynamic. From top to bottom, their roster features perennial all-stars, Cy Young favorites, and MVP candidates. And still, the Dodgers’ front office went out at the trade deadline and acquired all-star P Yu Darvish from the Texas Rangers. Not only did they shore up their pitching staff, they also cemented themselves as World Series favorites.

Everyone on the team is contributing this season: superstars, veterans, former castaways, and rookies. The Dodgers are firing on all cylinders.
