The National 2020 Tour | Presale & Cheap Ticket Info

American rock band The National have just announced new North American tour dates for 2020. These dates will begin on July 15th in Shelburne, VT and will continue through August 1st in Cooperstown, NY.

Fellow musician Lucy Dacus will serve as the opening act throughout this tour.

Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in very high demand due to The National’s die hard following, which always leads to sold out shows across the board and prompts the question: when do The National tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?

When Do The National Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?

The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, February 21st at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to quickly buy tickets on Ticketmaster.

If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below:

  • The Fan Club presale will begin on Wednesday, February 19th at 10 am local time.
  • Local Venue, Radio, LiveNation, and LiveNation Mobile App presales will begin on Thursday, February 20th at 10 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be SOLO, and the Mobile App code will be COVERT.

We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.

Are There Any Purchase Limits for The National Tickets?

There is an overall four (4) ticket limit for this event. Please be wary of exceeding these limits or else you may put any orders you have in jeopardy of being cancelled without your consent by the box office and/or TicketMaster.

How to Get Sold Out The National Tickets

If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for The National, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a band as popular as The National, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
