Earlier this year, Yves Tumor announced their upcoming new album Praise A Lord Who Chews But Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds). The record, which arrived mid-March, followed 2020’s Heaven to a Tortured Mind and featured production from Noah Goldstein and mixing by Alan Moulder.
Fans will have the opportunity to hear Hot Between Worlds this fall at Terminal 5. Tumor’s headlining tour will take them across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom until late this year.
Japanese Breakfast at Radio City Music Hall

We were ecstatic to hear Michelle Zauner’s Japanese Breakfast would be touring the U.S after their dates in Europe wrapped up. The band continues to tour behind 2021’s Jubilee, a now landmark album that spurred the singles “Be Sweet” and “Kokomo, IN.”
We can’t wait for Japanese Breakfast to take the Radio City Music Hall stage. They will be supported by opener Ichiko Aoba.
Brothers Osborne at The Rooftop at Pier 17
October 5
Last month, American country music duo Brothers Osborne dropped their new fourth studio album. The pair took this album as an opportunity to reintroduce themselves, in the spirit of openness and renewal, and self-titled their newest LP.
Brothers Osborne comes after 2020’s Skeletons. Since then, both TJ and John came out about their personal lives, sexuality, and struggles with mental health. “It’s a new start in that we’re trying new things, trying new sounds — but it’s also a late start that between recording our last album, my brother and I have disclosed a lot of personal things,” John says. “I feel like it gave us the courage to lean further into ourselves and not play it safe.”
SZA at Barclays Center
October 6
We’re finally at the North American Fall Leg of SZA‘s “S.O.S Tour.” SZA is rounding out her NYC shows with a performance at Barclays. We are happy for all fans who’ve had the chance to see SZA dazzle on her “S.O.S Tour.” But we are extremely excited for those who will catch her this month at Barclays.
Who will serve as the opening acts for SZA at Barclays? For most of SZA’s September and October dates, D4vd will serve as the opener. But we see D4vd has been specially removed from the bill for her Barclays shows. Which super special guest is set to join SZA in Brooklyn this month? We can’t wait to see who it is.
Nick Cave at Beacon Theatre
October 7
This month, Nick Cave will bring his solo tour to NYC’s Beacon Theatre. Joined only by his piano and Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood. Offering “reduced” versions of 23 songs, the duo still manage vulnerability, beauty, and synchronicity on stage.
Digging into several discographies, including the Bad Seeds canon, Cave and Greenwood are performing stunning renditions of songs such as “Jesus In The Moon,” “Into My Arms,” and “Oh Children.” This Nick Cave Solo Tour is definitely one you cannot miss if you’re a fan of either Nick Cave or Greenwood.
Ty Dolla $ign at Brooklyn Steel
October 8
Following the release of his single “Motion,” Ty Dolla $ign announced the “More Motion Less Emotion” Tour. The trip kicked off last month, and will feature openers Symba and Leon Thomas.
Ty Dolla $ign will be stopping at Brooklyn Steel for his NYC stop. We think this could be the best rap concert in NYC this month. Who will Ty Dolla $ign bring out, additionally, to join him on stage at Brooklyn Steel? The possibilities are endless.

October 11
Born in the U.S, now based in South Korea, the singer and TV personality Eric Nam is getting ready for a massive world tour which will stop at NYC’s Rooftop at Pier 17. According to press releases, Nam’s “House On A Hill” Tour is about much more than just the music.

According to the performer, the album is sort of speaking to the artist’s own existential crises, an attempt to answer some of the unanswerable questions. For this upcoming tour, Nam will be joined by special guests Alexander Stewart, Jamie Miller, Alex Porat, Gracey and Keenan Te on select dates.
Little Simz at Brooklyn Steel

Promoting their fifteenth studio album, Memento Mori, Depeche Mode are continuing on as a duo for the first time since last year’s death of keyboardist Andy Fletcher. But according to recent concert reviews, the band mourns but does not fall short on stage. In fact, Memento Mori has served as a glorious conduit of grief, emotion, and belonging between Depeche Mode and their fans.

Fans are still reeling from last year’s SMITHEREENS, his third album and third to reach the top five on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also features “Glimpse Of Us,” his first top-10 single. We can’t wait to hear the sounds to come, and what PANDEMONIUM will bring.

We are stoked there will be so many female rappers performing in NYC this month. The trend continues with Tinashe and Shygirl at Terminal 5. The duo announced their co-headlining tour back in August, and will be hitting major U.S cities through the fall.
BB/Ang3l, the latest LP from Tinashe, arrived just last month. It was led by the single “Talk To Me Nice.”
Dope Lemon at Brooklyn Steel
November 4
Australian indie artist Dope Lemon will be touching down at Brooklyn Steel this fall. The show is part of a limited, national tour in support of his fourth studio album, the recently released Kimosabè.
Dope Lemon’s new album is the first in which he reveals the man behind the moniker. His previous releases kept him disguised behind the persona’s artwork. “This record is everything that’s me,” Angus Stone (Dope Lemon) said. “In the past, the artwork has been anonymous in a way because I was trying to explore these styles, and having this shield in front of me was beautiful – I could sort of slink around in the shadows and wouldn’t have the public make judgement on the person behind it.
Kimosabè follows 2021’s Rose Pink Cadillac, which peaked at No. 1 on the ARIA Vinyl and Album Chart, and was crowned as triple j’s Feature Album the following year.
6LACK at Hammerstein Ballroom

It’s already turning out to be a huge year for 6LACK and his fans. Last month, 6LACK shared two new songs, one with singer/songwriter and longtime friend Jessie Reyez. Now, 6LACK is on the “Since I Have A Lover” Tour. This fall, he will perform at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom for what will be one of the best rap concerts all month.

Rod Wave at Barclays Center

Last month, rapper and singer Rod Wave released his fifth studio album Nostalgia. The record vacillates between slow song and banger, sometimes within the same track. Nostalgia, for those adequately listening, further proves the unique genius of Rod Wave.
Now, the artist is getting ready for what will definitely be one of the largest shows of his career. Rod Wave, and his “Nostalgia Tour,” will take Barclays Center mid-November. Rod Wave’s “Nostalgia Tour” special guests include Ari Lennox, G. Herbo, Toosii and Eelmatic. So far, Taking Back Sunday has released two new singles: “S’Old” and “The One.” Both are heavy-hitting, anthemic rock songs and have more than managed to amp their fans up for their upcoming release. We can’t wait to hear it live, at Bowery Ballroom.
