Iconic indie rockers Vampire Weekend have just announced a new 2020 leg of their tour that’s promoting their successful recent album Father of the Bride, which just wrapped up its initial North American run in their native New York City this past weekend. New dates will begin on May 29th in Westbrook, ME and will extend through October 7th of 2020 in Birmingham, AL.
Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be major demand due to Vampire Weekend’s status as one of the indie rock genre’s biggest acts, as well as the great success of their most recent album, which prompts the question: when do Vampire Weekend tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?
When Do Vampire Weekend Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?
The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, September 13th at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to buy tickets on Ticketmaster fast.
If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below:
- A Spotify presale will begin on Wednesday, September 11th at 10 am local time.
- Local Venue, Radio, LiveNation, and LiveNation Mobile App presales will take place beginning on Thursday, September 12th at 10 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be SOUNDTRACK, while the LiveNation Mobile App presale code will be COVERT.
We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.
Are There Any Purchase Limits for Vampire Weekend Tickets?
There is a six (6) ticket limit for this event. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.
How to Get Sold Out Vampire Weekend Tickets
If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Vampire Weekend, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a successful band that has a passionate fan base like Vampire Weekend, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
