Washington Capitals Seat Numbers
Seat number 1 is always closest to the lower section number. For example, seat number 1 in section 113 is on the aisle next to seat 20 in section 112.
Team Bench Locations for Washington Capitals Games
The Capitals’ bench is between sections 100 and 121, while the visitors’ bench is between sections 100 and 101. This means the Capitals will be shooting TWICE on the net in front of sections 105 & 106, and they will be shooting ONCE on the net in front of sections 116 & 117.
Penalty Boxes for Capitals Games
The penalty boxes are located in front of section 111. This means the last seat of row 1 section 112 and the first seat of row 1 section 110 are directly next to the penalty boxes, making these great tickets for anyone looking to spend an extra dollar to get up close to all of the action.
It is important to note that you should avoid sitting in the seats directly behind the penalty boxes in section 111. The glass and the players and staff inside the penalty boxes will certainly obstruct your view for the duration of the game.
Best Seats for Washington Capitals Games
The best seats are in sections 100, 101, 110-112, and 121. It’s important to note that while the first row against the glass provides a great view of the game, rows 2 through 7 behind it have limited viewing. Not only does the glass obstruct your view of the ice, but it also distorts it.
When purchasing tickets in these sections, the higher the row, the better the view. If you are on a budget, the lower rows of sections 416-418, 400, 401, and 433 will be the cheapest Capitals Tickets with the best view.
Premium Seating for Capitals Games
Club seats are just above the 100 level in sections 200-229. They include access to gourmet food and beverages and full-service bars.
The Acela Club, located between sections 200 and 205, offers fine dining and drinks before and after every game. Seats can be reserved ahead of time for a fee of $15.
Food and Beverage Options for Washington Capitals Games
Capital One Arena offers various food and beverages, including classics such as hot dogs, burgers, sausages, nachos, chili, and wings. Hofman’s Quality Meats, located on the 100-level concourse, offers local classics, such as Crab Cakes and fish po’ boys.
The fan-favorite Chick-fil-A has multiple locations throughout the venue, but be sure to get there at the right time, or you will find yourself waiting in a very long line.
Location of the Capital One Arena
Capital One Arena is at 601 F St., Washington, D.C. 20004. Its central location makes it great for those from out of town looking to spend a day or two in the area. The Smithsonian Museum, Capitol Hill, and the National Mall are just under a mile away, making travel short and convenient.
Handicapped & ADA Seating at Washington Capitals Games
For those who are confined to a wheelchair and/or those looking to attend a game at Capital One Arena with somebody who is, there is some important information that you’ll want to know. If you’re seeking ADA or handicapped seating, you’ll find accessible rows at the top of most sections within the venue that are spread throughout.
If necessary, folding chairs will be provided for guests, such as those looking to sit with a fan confined to a wheelchair. One trick to filter tickets that are handicapped or ADA accessible is to use our “Additional filters +” button on the event page. This button allows you to select “ADA (wheelchair accessible),” which shows all seats that the seller has marked as handicapped seating.
