Alt-rock duo They Might Be Giants dropped a music music video for “The Greatest”, from their 20th studio album I Like Fun. In the new video, They Might Be Giants pairs the fate of a voodoo doll to that of Parks & Recreation actor Nick Offerman.

In the video, a creepy old man has formed an obsession with Offerman and creates a voodoo doll in his honor. Check out They Might Be Giants’ “The Greatest” music video below.

They Might Be Giants’ I Like Fun arrived January 19th. Leading up to the release of the LP, John Flansburgh and John Linnell resurrected their famous “Dial-A-Song” service, where fans could dial a number and receive a new track from the band’s answering machine. The band first initiated “Dial-A-Song” back in 1983, and ended up accruing hundreds of tracks because of the productivity enforcing gimic. We now see similar services enacted by artists such as St. Vincent, with her unique “mixtape delivery service”.

Besides the power-pop single “I Left My Body”, They Might Be Giants decided to stick to dated production techniques when it came to the making of I Like Fun. “This album is kind of under-produced for us and certainly by 2017 standards,” Flansburgh said to Rolling Stone. “It’s more like a 1960s psychedelic production with a featured sound or instrument, maybe a vocal double, but not a ton of overdubs or processing. For me, just being a little more confident to keep things simple keeps it all much fresher.”

In addition to new music videos, They Might Be Giants will release new music on a weekly basis throughout 2018 via the toll-free Dial-A-Song phone number (844-387-6962) and website, along with major streaming sites. Check out their most recent set at Rolling Stone studios below.
