Will Beyoncé Go On Tour in 2024?
On Super Bowl Sunday, Beyoncé used her appearance in a Verizon commercial to announce that new music is on the way. In the commercial, comedian Tony Hale challenges Beyoncé to “break the internet.” After several hilarious and failed attempts, Beyoncé resorts to her final weapon.
“Drop the new music,” she said. Shortly after, two new Beyoncé songs appeared online: “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” A new announcement was posted to her website as well. It stated that the new album, identified as Act II, will drop on March 29.
Fans have pieced together that Act II most likely refers to the second part of Renaissance. If you can think back to when Beyoncé first announced Renaissance back in 2022, she explained it was only the first installment of a three-act project she recorded during the pandemic.
If Renaissance was only the beginning, we can only imagine the roll-out Beyoncé has in store for Act II and Act III of what will be her biggest project to date. As soon as Beyoncé made her announcement and updated her website, we began to speculate: Will Beyoncé Go On Tour in 2024?
When was the last Beyoncé solo tour?
The “Renaissance” World Tour, the ninth concert tour by Beyoncé, took place from May 10, 2023 to October 1, 2023. The world tour totaled to 56 shows and sold around $580 million tickets to Beyoncé fans all over the globe. The “Renaissance” World Tour was the second-highest grossing tour, Taylor Swift’s “Eras” Tour being the first.
What do we know about Beyoncé’s “Act II”?
The sound and aesthetic of “Act II,” as seen on her website and heard in the two released singles, leads us to believe Beyoncé is about to be in her country rock era. “Texas Hold ‘Em” begins with a banjo feature from Ameriana singer and performer Rhiannon Giddens before giving Beyoncé the spotlight in front of a heavy beat. “16 Carriages” is a non-traditional ballad with swelling guitars behind Beyoncé and her confessional lyrics.
The two songs lead us to believe we’ll be experiencing Beyoncé’s range on Act II—range of voice, style, and mood. It makes us excited for who else fans will get to hear alongside Beyoncé on what could be her most adventurous album to date.
The “Act II” album visuals embolden the country rock theme. The style of her costumes feel like a continuation of what she showcased on the Renaissance world tour. For the “Texas Hold ‘Em” artwork, Beyoncé has been pictured in metallic, heart-shaped hosiery beneath a big-shouldered black rodeo jacket and cowboy hat. Beyoncé truly makes the historic country aesthetic her own.

This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has dabbled in country music. To remind fans, she did grow up in Houston where country music, and rodeo, are beloved pastimes. On 2016’s Lemonade, there was the country-inspired “Daddy Lessons.” Later, Beyoncé even dropped a “Daddy Lessons” remix feat. The Chicks.
Will The Chicks be a part of “Act II”? What country musicians do you want to hear on Beyoncé’s new album?

Looking at when Beyoncé usually announces a concert tour, we think the news fans have been waiting for will arrive sooner than later. Beyoncé doesn’t seem to be following any mold or pattern for releasing new music and announcing new tours. We think it is highly unlikely that Beyoncé will wait another seven months after Act II drops (March 29) before announcing her next tour.
In fact, we think it’s going to happen in the next few weeks. Online speculation has already begun to stir, especially after her team removed “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR” from the metadata of http://tour.beyonce.com and replaced it with “the Beyonce Tour”
