Pop virtuosa Carly Rae Jepsen has been shyly styling from her Instagram account. She’s pictured at Disney World, in the Jungle, crouched fashionably on a pedestal with her pristine blonde bob, knowing she belongs. Not to mention her name on Billboard’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2019.
It’s been far over a year since The New Yorker Festival where Carly Rae Jepsen boasted 80 newly written songs for the highly anticipated EMOTION follow-up. She made it seem that fans wouldn’t have to wait very much longer before they heard her new album of bangers. But instead, time ticked on.
Though there was one. “Party for One“, to be exact, which dropped last year. It was marketed as her upcoming album’s lead single, but wasn’t followed with the typical announcements that a lead single can yield. Instead, “Party of One” was truly a lone single, and stood without any support or word from the artist herself.
But just last night (2/13), Carly Rae Jepsen hopped onto the promotional video for Queer Eye Season 3, backing the clip with a new single. From the little we heard, it sounds like “Now That I Found You” is a pop-electro banger, with Carly Rae Jepsen’s clear, resonant vocals propelling the track. We think it’s only a matter of time before “Now That I Found You” is available for wide streaming.

Carly Rae Jepsen has confirmed that she will be releasing her new album sometime this year. This is bolstered by the fact that the artist is scheduled to perform the Canadian national anthem at the upcoming NBA All-Star game. Will she perform additionally throughout the game? We’re not sure. So far, J. Cole is set as the main halftime performer.
So, Will Carly Rae Jepsen Tour in 2019? Since the artist has confirmed her upcoming album, and has performed a huge gesture to get the second single heard by mass audiences by linking up with Queer Eye, we think it’s possible—if not likely. Either way, Carly Rae Jepsen’s fourth studio album continues to be one of the most anticipated drops of 2019.
