In 2020, the XFL, an American football league that will run from the week after the Super Bowl through the end of April, should help satiate fans who are looking to get through the rest of the winter with football action every week.
The league’s first season will begin on the weekend of February 8th, with two games taking place on both Saturday and Sunday for each of the league’s first eight weeks, then adding a single Thursday night game during weeks 9 and 10.

The XFL will begin its first season with eight total teams, with four comprising the Eastern Conference, and the other four making up the Western Conference.
