The Bears are one of football's oldest franchises and have a storied history that dates back to 1920. They have won a total of nine overall championships, which is the second-most of any franchise, and those include eight NFL Championships and one Super Bowl in 1985. They have a legacy of dominant defenses led by players such as Richard Dent and Mike Singletary who helped them win their only Super Bowl, and Brian Urlacher, who in 2006 headed their defense that was mostly responsible for a second Super Bowl appearance. If you're looking to see this team in person, be sure to check out TickPick, where you can find cheap tickets that NEVER include any buyer fees!

Bears Place Many Eggs in QB Basket in 2017 Draft The Bears may have made the splashiest move of the entire 2017 draft by trading up a mere one spot to move from number three overall to number two in order to draft UNC quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who the team has tabbed as their signal caller of the future. They gave up a third and fourth-round pick in this draft and a third rounder next year in order to move up one slot when they almost certainly could have stayed pat to take Trubisky at #3 overall, but now the outlook of this draft relies more on Trubisky's development than even a standard situation where a QB is taken in the top few picks. They spent their second pick on tight end Adam Shaheen out of Division II Ashland, who has the upside but is considered very raw after starting his college career as a basketball player. Without a third-round pick, they finally addressed a problematic secondary with safety Eddie Jackson out of Alabama in the fourth. This was a draft that ultimately lacked in quantity but Bears fans hope will yield high-impact quality players with Trubisky being the centerpiece. If you want to catch the Bears in person in 2017, be sure to check out TickPick, where you'll NEVER pay any fees on tickets!
Bears Look to Rebuild in 2017 The Bears are coming off one of their worst seasons as a franchise, finishing 3-13 and at the bottom of the NFC North. The Bears have since released Quarterback Jay Cutler after an up and down time in Chicago and as of now plan on rolling with former Bucs QB Mike Glennon to start the 2017 season. However, the Bears moved up the draft to ensure they would get what they hope is their next franchise Quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky out of North Carolina. Whoever is at Quarterback will be tested early, as the bears open at home against the defending NFC Champion Falcons. If the Bears are still in contention come December, they will have to earn their way into the playoffs with three of their last four games away from Soldier Field.

Bears Hope 2016 Draft Class Can Help End Playoff Drought The Bears had themselves a nice draft this year, hitting on both needs and also getting some value in the later rounds. They addressed their pass-rushing need in the first round by trading a fourth-round pick to move up a few spots to take outside linebacker Leonard Floyd out of Georgia, who Chicago should be able plug in and play immediately. They took guard Cody Whitehair out of Kansas State with their second-round pick, and he should also provide immediate help along the offensive line to help keep quarterback Jay Cutler upright and healthy, a key for this team who has had seasons sunk in recent years by Cutler injuries. Defensive end Jonathan Bullard out of Florida, taken in the fourth round, should provide even more pass-rushing depth for this retooling defense. Running back Jordan Howard, a fifth-round pick pick out of Indiana, could help replace some of the carries and production left behind by former running back Matt Forte, who left the Bears for New York in free agency after eight years with the team. This draft class could prove to be a spark that helps them return to playoff contenders after a drought that extends back to 2010.
