Opening in 2017 for its first spring training, The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches will be the new home to the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals. Located right off I-95 in West Palm Beach, The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches holds 6,500 people and will offer a unique fan experience thanks to the design of the complex. Before even entering the ballpark, fans will walk through training and workout facilities to create a one of a kind spring training experience.
The Houston Astros dugout is located on the third base side in front of sections 103-105, while the Washington Nationals dugout is on the first base side in front of sections 113-115.
Seats to Avoid
Try and avoid lawn seating at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches as shade will be hard to come by, especially during those hot Florida days.
There are two game day grass lots in the northwest and south part of the complex. The Astros lot is located in the northwest area and the Nationals in the south. General admission parking is $10 and located off Haverhill Road and Military Trail. RV, bus, and disabled parking is also available at the complex.
There are six suites on the upper level, three on the first baseline and three on the third baseline. There is also a covered party deck at each end of the upper level. In front of sections 116-120 there is an area that contains two rows of padded folding chairs and drink rails.
The best seats at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches are in the Home Plate Box between the first and third base dugouts in front of sections 106-112. The Dugout Box in sections 102-116 offer great seating options as well, as these seats hug the field from shallow left field around to shallow right field. In front of the sections 116-120 is the Field Box which is a premium area that includes extra legroom, field level views, and complimentary in-seat service. The suites and Party Deck are ideal for groups. These areas provide great views of the ballpark and facility, private restrooms, and hospitality service for all your needs. The Left Field Bar gives fans the opportunity to watch the game while enjoying over 32 beers on tap and TV's to catch other action.
The Nationals bullpen is located behind the right field wall while the Astros bullpen is located behind the left field wall. You can look into each bullpen from the outfield concourse.
