The Seahawks had an up-and-down franchise history for the most part until they hired head coach Mike Holmgren before the 1999 season. He came to town and led the team to six playoff appearances during his ten-year tenure, including their first Super Bowl berth during the 2005 season. Pete Carroll came in a few years after him and has guided them to even greater heights, including their first Super Bowl title in 2013 and another appearance the following season. This franchise is now as stable as any in the NFL and appears poised to continue this success for years to come. If you're a 'Hawks fan, be sure to check out TickPick for tickets that NEVER include any buyer fees!

Seattle Seahawks Playoff Tickets 2014
Seahawks Looking Like Super Bowl Contenders Once Again in 2016The Seahawks enter this season as a surefire playoff team barring any injuries to star players like Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman or Earl Thomas. It will likely be another dogfight with division rival Arizona to see who takes the NFC West, but this team is as talented and well-coached as any this side of their aforementioned division rival Cardinals in the NFL. Their schedule this season is a tough one, ranking as fifth-toughest in the NFL in terms of strength of schedule, which is based off of the 2015 winning percentage of their opponents. The have a total of five prime time games, giving them plenty of opportunity to showcase themselves to a national television audience, and a few matchups in particular that look extra compelling are a Sunday Night Football game at Arizona in Week 7 and another Sunday Nighter in Week 10 in New England. If the 'Hawks win the majority of games that they're supposed to as well as against very strong teams like those two at their own field, they will end up as Super Bowl favorites come playoff time. Seahawks Further Lengthen Roster With Solid 2016 DraftThe Seahawks executed a few shrewd trades that allowed them to maneuver down and then up at different spots to add draft capital and players at positions of need at great spots for them. They traded down five spots in the first round with Denver in order to scoop up an extra third-round pick and still got their guy in offensive lineman Germain Ifedi who should step in and help right away at either tackle or more likely guard. They traded up in round two with Chicago to get run-stuffing defensive tackle Jarran Reed out of Alabama, who had a first-round grade by most experts which must have had Seattle foaming at the mouth to add such a potential impact player at that spot. The added offensive weapons in the next few rounds in C.J. Procise, a running back out of Notre Dame that should inherit some carries left by Marshawn Lynch, who retired in the offseason, and Nick Vannett, a tight end out of Ohio State who should help provide depth at the position that is needed after All-Pro Jimmy Graham severely damaged his knee last season. All in all, this is an already-excellent roster that just made itself better and younger, and they should expect to see plenty of contributions from this 2016 draft class this season.
