Long Beach, Marina Green Park

Cal Jam

October 5-6

San Bernadino, Glen Helen Regional Park and Amphitheater

This daylong music, drinking, and carnival ride marathon boasts chill vibes, a love of rock and roll, and good times. Offering camping grounds for the night before the festival, Cal Jam will kick off with Billy Idol and comedian Bridget Everett before 12 straight hours of jamming. This years headliners include: Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Greta Van Fleet

 

A3C Festival

October 6-7

Atlanta, GA Freight Depot

This is one of the few stages Weezy is scheduled to grace this year, and in our opinion, one of the best. Now in its 14th year, the A3C Festival is a place for music fans, entrepreneurs, and other creatives who are interested in shaping the future of hip-hop. This year’s headliners include: Wu-Tang Clan, Talib Kweli, The Diplomats (Cam’Ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana), Lil Wayne

 

Adult Swim Festival

October 6-7

Los Angeles, ROW DTLA

As indicated in the name, this festival boasts all things Adult Swim: a unique, immediately recognizable brand of humor, and a penchant for recognizing burgeoning talent through their annual Singles program. Looking for a comedy and music festival all its own? The Adult Swim Festival is one you need to know about. Headliners include: Thundercat, Run the Jewels, T-Pain, Dan Deacon, Flying Lotus

 

Mempho Music Festival

October 6-7

Memphis, Shelby Farms Park

Bringing together Memphis’ musical roots, local artists, and Southern-style cuisine, the Mempho Music Festival is excited to build off of its inaugural year. And considering what festival organizers have in store this year, it looks like they are dedicated to making Mempho an integral part to Memphis’ culture for decades to come. Headliners include: Beck, Post Malone, Phoenix, Nas, Janelle Monae, Mac Demarco, Milky Chance

 

Treasure Island Music Festival

October 13-14

Oakland, Middle Harbor Shoreline Park

This will be the first year the Treasure Island Music Festival takes place at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park instead of its original home and namesake, Treasure Island. But due to increasingly inclement weather in the Bay Area, T.I.M.F has relocated, and is beginning a new tradition with a valiant lineup. This years headliners include: Tame Impala, A$AP Rocky, Silk City (Mark Ronson + Diplo), Santigold, Courtney Barnett

 

Demon Dayz Festival

October 20

Los Angeles, Pico Rivera Sports Arena & Grounds

The second annual Demon Dayz Festival, created and headlined by the Gorillaz, will not be held at the Dreamland amusement park in Margate, England like last year, and instead will take place at the Pico Rivera Grounds in L.A. This years performers include: Erykah Badu, The Internet, DRAM, Little Simz

 

Mala Luna

October 27-28

San Antonio, Nelson Wolff Stadium

This two-day festival not only draws some incredible local and national talent, but it does so for a great cause. All profits from Mala Luna benefit the Network for Young Artists, a non-profit organization who funds music education to San Antonio-area youth. This year’s festival headliners include: Cardi B, Nicky Jam, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Pump, Dillon Francis, Becky G

 

Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival

November 10-11

Los Angeles, Dodgers Stadium

It will be the fifth iteration of Tyler, the Creator’s annual carnival inspired music festival, and arguably its best lineup to date. For starters: Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will bring Tyler together with his Odd Future compatriots, like The Internet, Earl Sweatshirt and Taco. Not to mention the appearance of Lauryn Hill’s name on the bill. This year’s headliners include: Kids See Ghosts (Kanye West, Kid Cudi), Pusha T, Post Malone, SZA, Lauryn Hill

 

Astroworld Festival

November 17

Houston, NRG Park

Next to nothing is known about the inaugural Astroworld Festival, created and curated by Travis Scott, who released his album of the same name early this Summer. Taking place November 17th at NRG Park, for around $100 a GA ticket, we presume a day of rap music, possibly rides, and hopefully a set from La Flame himself.
