Ariana Grande Drops New Song “Best Mistake” feat. Big Sean
Ariana Grande dropped a new single from her upcoming record My Everything. The song, titled “Best Mistake”, features rapper Big Sean. This is the third collaboration between Grande and Big Sean, with “Problem” and “Right There” being the first two. By mid-morning, “Best Mistake” had already reached the number one spot on iTunes Top 10, giving Grande her third slot in the rankings (the other two belonging to “Break Free” feat. Zedd, and “Bang Bang”). This is turning out to be a bigger year for Ariana Grande than anyone could have predicted. Listen to Ariana Grande’s new single “Best Mistake” below:
Despite the dating rumors surrounding Big Sean and Ariana Grande, the single deserves every bit of buzz it’s getting. “Best Mistake” is much slower than what we’ve been hearing from Ariana Grande lately. The new track is sultry, seductive, and a little sad. The song is about going back and forth between breaking up and letting go (a topic pretty poignant to Grande’s current love life). The new single is definitely different from Ariana Grande’s other top hits, but in our opinion, this is a great thing. Every album needs diversity. Ariana Grande is set too release her new album My Everything on August 25th, and “Best Mistake” is a much needed slow jam. We’re hoping for more My Everything previews before the album drops, but until then, check out this Pentatonix cover of Grande’s biggest and latest single, “Problem”.
