Blake Griffin Takes On Marvin the Martian in Dunk Contest
Once considered the Robin to Chris Paul’s Batman, Los Angeles Clippers big man Blake Griffin has since taken his place among the elite in the NBA. His handles, shooting ability and court vision have improved every year since he came into the league out of Oklahoma, making him one of the better all-around players in the game.
Still, the most prominent weapon in Griffin’s arsenal is his ability to throw down some of the most epic slams the league has ever seen. As if his in-game dunks weren’t enough, the Clips star won the 2011 Slam Dunk Contest in style when he jammed one after jumping over a Kia sedan.
Not too shabby for a big guy, but is his dunking prowess enough to keep pace with Marvin the Martian?
The Looney Tunes character and the NBA All-Star went head to head in a battle for slam dunk supremacy in a video entitled “The Dunk to End All Dunks,” which served to promote the Jordan Super.Fly 4 shoes.
Not a bad look for Blake. He may just have to take LeBron James’ place in the new Space Jam!
