Coachella Food Vendors

The area of food vendors at both of Coachella’s weekends in Coachella Valley is called Indio Central Market. Yup, it’s like a hipster food hall with all the best bites. In 2022, the market has carefully curated 15 different food vendors that are yet to be released. But don’t worry, you can check back here in a few months for updated info and vendor names. There are also food options specifically for campers where vendors and food trucks are easily accessible on the campgrounds.

Coachella makes an emphasis to have inclusive food options, meaning everyone gets to eat delicious food! There will be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Whatever you want to eat, whatever your favorites, you’re likely to find it at Coachella. From full-on meals and stick-to-your-ribs comfort foods to cold drinks, coffee, snacks, and desserts – or even chilly ice cream! – they’ve got it! According to past festival goers and food blogs, there are about six categories the food can be placed in:

  1. Pizza
  2. Tacos
  3. Ice Cream
  4. Burgers
  5. Healthy Options
  6. Must-Have Festival Favs

For the full list of food vendors at this year’s festival, check out the official Coachella site.

You might’ve seen some of Coachella’s food options online ’cause they’re so Instagrammable. Like After’s Ice Cream that’s all kinds of colors. Or the famous Spicy Pie, a huge slice of pizza that’s, you guessed it, spicy!

In other words, don’t forget about the food with all the music and partying. With options like these, you’d be missing out!

VIP Dining

Though Coachella’s food is delicious no matter where you end up eating, there is also an extra wow factor with their VIP options. “Outstanding In The Field” is a serene hideaway with a beautiful long table and a place to sit. Located in the VIP Rose Garden, this experience includes a full-service four course meal including a cocktail and lots of wine. You can get tickets directly from Coachella for Outstanding In The Field here.

Insider Food Favorites and Tips

Food is a hot topic among Coachella alumni. We checked out multiple blogs for their ideas, memories, and favorite spots of years past. A few of their faves include Gwen’s pop-up restaurant – it’s one of the most non-carnival style options at the festival. Another must are the Garlic Crab Fries (From the Garlic Crab Fries Stand). There’s even a foot long Sumo Dog, probably the most Instagrammed food there! And you won’t want to miss the “Top Chef” star Shirley Chung and her spot Ms. Chi Café. For those out there with a sweet tooth, you’ll definitely be happy at Coachella. And if you’ve ever had Dole Whip floats, you’ll be excited to learn they’ve got ’em at Coachella too and, you guessed it, it’s a must. You can grab Dole Whip and other tasty treats at Kogi Town by famous chef Roy Choi.

Some other tips we found included looking at everything before buying. Food isn’t the cheapest at music festivals, so you’ll want to make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck.

Whether you’re vegan, got a sweet tooth, or just a hungry festival goer, Coachella’s got you!
