Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Bob Dylan, & More to Co-Headline New Music Festival

Get ready for what might be the greatest music festival this country has ever seen.

Goldenvoice, the powerhouse concert promoter behind Coachella and other festival giants, has officially announced Desert Trip, a new rock and roll music festival scheduled to take place this October in Indio, CA. The three-day festival will be headlined by some of the greatest artists in music history – The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, The Who, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young.

The lineup is so unreal that only those six performers will grace the stage during the entirety of the weekend, but the festival organizers obviously went for quality over quantity here, and it doesn’t get much better than this. These six artists – all Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees – have never once shared a bill, so attending this festival will mean seeing rock and roll history in the making.

The festival begins Friday with Bob Dylan followed by The Rolling Stones, Saturday has Neil Young taking the stage before Paul McCartney, and Sunday starts with The Who and closes out with Roger Waters.

Desert Trip will take place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, CA – that’s right, the Coachella grounds – from October 7th-9th. 3-day and single-day passes go on sale Monday, May 9.
