Miami Grand Prix Seating Breakdown
Miami International Autodrome, like most F1 race seating, is broken up into different sections. There is the Turn 1 Grandstand, Turn 18 Grandstand, Marina Grandstand, Fountain View Grandstand, Family Grandstand, Beach Grandstand, and Start/Finish Grandstand.
The grandstands at the Miami Autodrome Circuit are about 30 rows with an overhang that only covers the top 15 rows. Keep in mind that there is a fence that goes up around 5 rows. Therefore, to avoid looking through the fence, we suggest you sit above row 5. Take a look at the photo below for more details. We’ll also break it down section by section.
Turn 1 Grandstand
At Turn 1 Grandstand, visitors get the best view of the cars coming out of the Pits heading towards Turn 1. It’s a great spot to witness the start of the race and the cars’ standings.
Turn 18 Grandstand
The Turn 18th Grandstand seats have views of the cars going into Turn 18. This turn is said to be the fastest straightaway in Formula 1 and onto one of the best passing zones on the track.
Start/Finish Grandstand
At the Start/Finish Grandstand, visitors have premium views of the paddock, starting grid, and main straight. These seats are really at the center of all the action. Plus, they offer a great view of the podium ceremony once the race is over. To top it off, visitors in this grandstand have easy access to food options in the North Campus area.
Marina Grandstand
The Marina Grandstand gives the most “Miami Feel” since it’s located next to the Yachts docked in the harbor. In the Marina Grandstand, viewers can see cars race through the high-speed turns 6, 7, and 8. This option has lots of food and drink spots.
Family Grandstand
This section is intended to be family-friendly and also budget-friendly. Here, visitors can enjoy great views of the cars heading into Turns 4 and 5. There is also quick access to food options in the West Campus area.
The Fountain View Grandstand
The Fountain View Grandstand is located at the Turn 9 entrance. This Miami Grand Prix seating section gives visitors broad views of the action across the track, instead of one specific turn. There are also clear views of the giant video board located in the South Campus area.
The Beach Grandstands
The Beach Grandstand is located in Turns 11, 12, and 13. This section offers great views of the Mia Beach House. There are two seating options in this section, as well.
Best Seats at the Miami Grand Prix
The Marina grandstand and Beach grandstands are considered the best seating options at the Miami Grand Prix Formula One race. This is because they both offer great views of the race while also having the most party atmosphere.
Where to Park for the Miami Grand Prix
Parking at the Miami Grand Prix is not recommended. That’s because there aren’t many lot options. But if you do, there are parking passes available on the official site.
