How to Get Lollapalooza Tickets

Lollapalooza, Chicago’s largest music festival that takes place in beautiful Grant Park, has tickets going on sale soon. The 4-Day festival in July will provide fans the opportunity to see some of the biggest names in music, as they always have one of the best and most eclectic mixes of performers & headliners that rival any other major annual music festival.

Since Lollapalooza Chicago expanded to become a 4-Day festival in 2016, it has grown even more in popularity for music fans who are both Chicago residents and those who are more than willing to get their Lollapalooza ticket so they can get out to Chicago in the summertime.

We know that fans will have plenty of questions in order to make it out to Lolla this year, and we at TickPick have included plenty of information in the blog below to help users make an informed decision before purchasing their tickets.

Check out our Lollapalooza Guide if you’re looking for more general information on this year’s festival and our blog on the Lollapalooza lineup to see which awesome performers will be on stage.

When Do Lollapalooza Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets for the Lollapalooza festival will go on sale on Wednesday, June 2nd at 10 am CT.

Does Lollapalooza Have Single-Day Tickets?

Yes, 1-Day Lollapalooza does have single-day general admission passes and they go on sale on Wednesday, June 2nd at 10 am local time.

Most festivals only release full weekend passes – at first. Once they sell out of all of their 4-day general admission passes, Lollapalooza has traditionally released single-day tickets for fans who are only looking to catch a single headliner.

These single-day passes hit the secondary market and do typically cost more than the price-per-day if you purchase the full 4-day pass at once, but if you’re only looking to go for one day or can make it one day, it’s worth saving the money and going with the single-day general admission pass.

How Will I Receive My Lollapalooza Tickets?

Lollapalooza passes are actually all wristbands that attendees are required to wear on their wrists throughout the days that they’ll be attending the festival, so if you’ll be there for multiple days, fans will simply want to keep the wristband on for the whole weekend.

Given that all of these passes will be physical wristbands, no electronic tickets or passes will be available for fans, so all passes will have to be shipped to buyers directly from the festival or from a secondary marketplace like TickPick. In some instances, fans may be able to have their wristbands left under their name to be picked up at will call.

How to Get Sold Out Lollapalooza Tickets

If you weren’t able to secure Lollapalooza tickets directly through the website’s original on-sale, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Passes can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With the massive popularity of Lolla, market prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.

How to Get Cheaper Lollapalooza Tickets

Most other ticket marketplaces charge high service fees in addition to the listed ticket price, but not TickPick. Here at TickPick, we have no service fees, making us your source for cheap Lollapalooza tickets at the guaranteed best prices on the secondary market.
