Imagine Dragons Release New Song, Working on Sophomore Album
Imagine Dragons released a new single this week titled “I Bet My Life.” It’s said to be the lead single from their upcoming studio album, which as of yet has no official release date, but is expected in 2015. The new song sticks to the same style as those from their wildly successful debut album “Night Visions,” with quieter, melodic verses that give way to a huge, anthemic chorus. One thing’s for sure: this song would sound great performed in an arena setting, so when are these guys going on tour again?
The band is still in the studio working on their yet untitled sophomore album, so it may be a while before that’s released and they announce a full tour, but can we expect more tour dates from them in between? It’s likely. Imagine Dragons is currently scheduled to play two dates in their home city of Las Vegas as well as shows in Seattle and Denver later this year, so we can only hope that this is the start of something much bigger and that they’ll add more shows as we transition into 2015. Hopefully by next year they’ll have another album under their belts and they’ll be ready to take their show on the road again. When that happens, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
