Is Brett Favre Primed For An NFL Comeback?
Make no mistake about it–Brett Favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play in the NFL. Despite the off-the-field controversies that surrounded him at times and the “will he or won’t he” retirement game that played out during the latter years of his career, there’s no denying the impact Favre had on the league and the Green Bay Packers franchise he called home for 16 seasons.
According to Favre, he could still be making an impact in the league today.

In Sports Illustrated’s recent “Where Are They Now?” issue, the now 45-year-old was asked whether or not he could still be the man under center for an NFL team today. His answer may surprise you.
“I think I could play,” Favre told SI. “As far as throwing.”
Nonetheless, the legendary QB also makes clear the fact that he’s not looking to launch another comeback attempt. He last played in 2010 with the Minnesota Vikings and it seems that Favre is content with that.
Still, you’ve got to admit–another comeback would definitely be something to see.
