Jack White has released a new music video for the unrequited love ballad off of Lazaretto, “Would You Fight For My Love”. The video for this haunting blues anthem is shot entirely in a blue color scheme, and features a brooding Jack White (clad with a new haircut) sitting at a bar. The video begins with a mysterious woman dressed in black selecting a song on the Jukebox, and then turns to White as he sullenly sings his brokenhearted verse, “It’s not enough that I love you/ There’s all these things I have to prove to you”. As the song comes to its raucous conclusion, Jack White backs away through a strobe lit room, leaving us in the weird, ghostly bar. According to White, the video was “conceptualized, produced, and shot within a 24-hour period”, which is in the typical Jack White fashion of performing incredible, timely feats.
