The New York Jets and the Denver Broncos will face off on Sunday, October 12th at Metlife Stadium.  As a Jets or Broncos fan, or as someone who enjoys football in general, what will you be doing for the game?

Joining us for the Jets vs Broncos TickPick Tailgate!

TickPick is throwing a fully-catered tailgate party in the parking lot right outside Metlife Stadium, with all-you-can-eat-and-drink BBQ and beer.  Chumley’s BBQ will be catering the tailgate, and the menu is sure to please even the most dedicated tailgaters.  You may be used to attending small tailgate parties in the past for games right outside Metlife Stadium, but for this highly anticipated game, TickPick has got you covered. Here are the details:

9:00am – All You Can Eat & Drink Tailgate

Tailgate set-up will be at a parking lot at Metlife Stadium. Fans can use Metro North or NJ Transit Rail Service to make their way to the stadium, or may purchase a parking pass and drive to the paring lots. No need to worry about packing a small SUV with coolers and your tiny grill.  This is an all you can eat & drink, fun family affair, including beer pong, cornhole, and more. 12:30pm – Last Call + Get Your Goodie Bag

Before heading into the Stadium, the Chumley’s chef will prepare a goodie-bag of sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, etc. for you to bring into the game, saving each TickPick Tailgater from paying $15-$20 on stadium food.

1:05pm – Kick Off

Game Starts. The TickPick group will be sitting in the upper level endzone.  Jets will have to play some great football to compete with Peyton Manning and the Broncos, and we’ll be there yelling at the players from the 300-level like they can hear us.  It’ll be hilarious, and if we’re loud enough, we will cause a penalty and we’ll go nuts.  That’s how TickPick rolls at a football game.

TickPick’s Jets vs Broncos Tailgate Location

We are currently planning on setting up in the J Lot, carving out a space in J2 or J3.  Parking is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if for any reason we are unable to set up in J2 or J3, we will be setting up in J22, J23, K4, or K8.  We will be there as soon as the lots open at 8:00 am, and the tailgate will officially begin at 8:30 am.​

Once you enter the parking ring, just follow the signs for the J Lot. Let me know if you still need a Yellow Parking Pass at the reduced rate of $45.

Directions via NJ Transit – Trains will begin dropping fans off at Metlife Stadium no earlier than 9:54 am.  Trains arrive only from the Secaucus Junction stop.

Directions via Bus –

The 161 bus out of Port Authority runs every 45 minutes throughout the morning, and drops you off on the other side of the stadium at the intersection of “W PERIPHERAL RD and ROAD D,” just ask the bus driver if you’re on the bus towards Metlife Stadium.

The 7:50 am train will get you to the tailgate by 8:20, and the 8:35 am train will get you there by 9:05.  The bus departs from Gate 406, click here for the schedule.  It’s a solid 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop to the J Lot, so pace yourself and don’t start sprinting as soon as you step off the bus, you’ll never make it alive.  Hold hands with a friend and prepare for a trek.

The 351 Express bus out of Port Authority is the superior option for those who are looking to arrive at 10 am or later.  The 351 line will begin departures at 9:30 am and will drop you off at the K Lot, which is very close to the J Lot.  The 351 Express bus can be boarded at Gate 207, click here for the website.
