Jack White Drops “Would You Fight For My Love” Music Video
Jack White has released a new music video for the unrequited love ballad off of Lazaretto, “Would You Fight For My Love”. The video for this haunting blues anthem is shot entirely in a blue color scheme, and features a brooding Jack White (clad with a new haircut) sitting at a bar. The video begins with a mysterious woman dressed in black selecting a song on the Jukebox, and then turns to White as he sullenly sings his brokenhearted verse, “It’s not enough that I love you/ There’s all these things I have to prove to you”. As the song comes to its raucous conclusion, Jack White backs away through a strobe lit room, leaving us in the weird, ghostly bar. According to White, the video was “conceptualized, produced, and shot within a 24-hour period”, which is in the typical Jack White fashion of performing incredible, timely feats. Jack White is currently on the final leg of his solo world tour. This weekend, White will join Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and Dave Matthews at the Farm Aid Festival in North Carolina. White’s North American tour will conclude at the end of this month in South Carolina’s Township Auditorium. Jack White’s Lazaretto tour will be remembered as one of 2014’s most epic rock tours, so if you’re still thinking about purchasing Jack White tickets this month, we say do it.
