John Wall Sounds Off on Bieber vs. Obama One-on-One Game
Recently on the TickPick blog, we posed a burning question for basketball fans. Who is better–Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks or Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers?
It’s an intriguing showdown for hoops enthusiasts to consider and the kind of debate that rages on a perpetual basis among the sporting masses.
TMZ Sports recently tracked down Washington Wizards star point-man John Wall in an effort to discover who would win another hypothetical match-up between two titans of the hardwood. The President of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama and part-time singer, part-time international menace-at-large, Justin Bieber.
Having spent some time on the court with both men, Wall is uniquely qualified to offer analysis on this most pertinent and intriguing of pairings. That said, his winning prediction in the Obama-Bieber battle may just surprise you–
According to the NBA All-Star, if the two were to engage in an epic one-on-one game on the basketball court, it would be the 21-year-old Bieber who would prevail in the showdown against the POTUS. He said as much without a moment of hesitation, declaring, “Bieber’s pretty good, man. He can play.”
Adding insult to injury, Wall commented that the President’s jump shot is looking a little bit funky these days. He did, however, take care to point out that he’s only participated in a shootaround with Obama and that the noted hoops junkie has skills of his own.
If Wall’s appraisal of this dream match-up is accurate, I can’t help but weep for America.
